Well personally I'd kill to be able to spend $100 a week on fuel. Atm I use 4 tanks of petrol a week and at around $80 a pop its pretty expensive lol. My solution is we should all move to Dubai/UAE. 15c/L fuel, no speed limits, massive roads and lots of work only problem is its like $15 for a beer lmao! Also I think the Americans pay less for fuel because their fuel is slightly worse than ours? They have like 85RON or some shit im unsure but I know the highest RON rating they have their is 93 or 95. It could be the reason why or just because they invaded Iraq so they get the cheaper fuel..who knows eh. Fuel will hit $2.00/L at Christmas and probably peak at $2.25 during Christmas holidays while everyone is off work and then in Jan/Feb it will drop back down to $1.85 and we'll all be cheering because fuel prices have dropped so much What happened to the days of $0.91/L Christ is was only last year some time lol!

one of the best ads ever lol. number collecting feature would be helpful

Im 18 pay 2 grand a year for fully comp. rego is like $600ish for a year and i spend about $240 a week on petrol :S 1200kms a week to and from work hurrah lol. I spent a lot of time weighing up the options and crunching the numbers making sure i could afford it. But what I also had to understand and Im sure a lot of people here will agree is that skylines and budgets dont mix. With fuel & oil prices going up make sure you have a lot of padding with your budget so it doesn't affect you too much. Despite how much gets spent on my car its all worth it.

Keep left is the biggest one for me. If you wanna travel at 90km/h in the 100 zone fine just do it in the left lane so i can pass you. AND even more important. If your gunna do the speed limit don't do it sitting next to someone who is also doin the speed limit. MOVE THE f**k OVER that has got to be the most annoying thing on the road.

How Is Life Without A License? Lol

This thread has taught me that skylines and liscences dont mix lol. For those who are serving massive sentences like 12 months + wtf did you do? I was doing 93 in a 60 and then ran a red light while on Good behaviour. -
im pretty sure recommended speed is just that. a recommended speed. You dont have to go that speed round the corner but it is safer etc. Im not sure what can be classed as negligent though because as a learner you are taught to slow down in the wet. I wouldnt stress too much you can't do anything about it until they investigate it. If they try and fine you maybe look into contesting the fine & points. You might be able to trade off no points but get a bigger fine so give it a go. Call up the transport centre and get some advice from them.

Gt-r33 Front/back Under Diffusers.
Beelzebub89 replied to Spunky Munky's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I've just bought mine from UAS(www.uniqueautos.com.au) they have the series 3 r33 gtr front lip for $295 in fibreglass and its pretty good. It all fit fine on my car I have the same as you. GTST with full widebody conversion etc. All you have to do is prep and paint it and its ready to go. The service was amazing but it got here and better than paying $1200 for one from nissan. -
How Is Life Without A License? Lol

Try and get a Good Behaviour Bond or a Special Hardship Order. Im on a SHO now and I can only drive to and from work and to and from uni but its better than nothing. Theres a few ways around losing the license so do your research and don't just lay down and take it. I appealed my second offence and that alone got me 6 months before I went to court. But i spose if you cant be bothered its always good to save money etc. And like what was said above you'll find out who your tru friends are. -
R33 Gts-t S2 Manual Q's
Beelzebub89 replied to montgomery's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Agree with everything that has been said here. But I'll just point out that most of them have had their clocks wound back at some point in their life. If its got 100xxx on the clock you may aswell add another 50 - 70 thousand kms onto that and you would be closer the mark. Make sure you look at the interior when your looking at one. Worn steering wheel, seats and gear stick cover are all signs that the car most likely has over 150,000kms on it. Also the syncros on 4th and 5th gear tend to let go in the r33's when you get into the higher kms. Give it a hard change into 4th and 5th if it crunches thats another indicator of the true mileage on the car. Dont be put off by this though because they are still really reliable, as long as you look after them Good luck on buying one you won't regret it -
I think you'll find alot of the carsales.com, carpoint.com etc have most of the same cars so just take your pick really. I live in qld so im not sure about the auctions but you should be able to find a clean gtst on carsales etc between 10 - 15k. Not sure of the likelyhood of finding one with work meisters on it though, you might have to buy your rims seperately. Shop around and make sure you don't rush into buying any old one. I looked at 6 or 7 before I decided on my car. There are some bargains but alot of them are just lemons so be careful Read the stickied topics on what you should look for when buying one they helped me a shitload. Don't believe the odometer either because most of the important ones have been wound back. Insurance i cant see it costing you more than $1500 at the very very most. Im 18 n my insurance is only $2000. Good luck finding your car Coxy

^^ i dont think you'd need to look into forgies until you get upward of 300rwkw. Thanks for all the replys now i know what im looking for Found a power fc on ebay thats cheap enough. I plan on installing everything i can myself using the diy tutorials on this site Thanks all it is much appreciated Coxy

Marangoni - Cant remember the code. 245/35/19. Well before these the car had 255/45/17 falkens on it and they had 0 grip in the wet and it would still kick the tail out in the dry. These tyres feel great the feedback on the road is brilliant compared to other tyres ive had. Good grip in the wet and dry and they're fairly cheap at $350 a corner for 19s Dry - 8/10 Wet - 8/10
-
Awesome so at most it will cost me $6500 for a reliable 250kw Thanks for the help guys much appreciated. Coxy
-
are forgies necessary at 250kw?
-
Ok thanks for the links So what ive gathered from that thread ill need the following: power fc highflow turbo Fuel pump 550cc injectors Ive got the FMIC and 3 inch turbo back exhaust. What kind of coin am I looking at for the above?
-
Ok guys ive got my car looking how i want it now it needs some more go I want around 200 - 250rwkw so what will i be looking at upgrading and what kind of costs am I looking at? Thanks all Coxy

Would you rather have a GTST or a GTR? I never said it was the real thing and i dont claim to own a GTR so i dont see what the problem is. If i hadnt of said it was a GTST then i doubt anyone would of said nething... Sorry to say that you cant. All the rays n works etc are like $450+ a wheel and then ive still gotta buy tyres...
-
Lol its actually a GTST but it does have all the wider guards n etc. Aestetically its a gtr but performance wise its a very stock gtst The badges are stayin on for now because if it fools people who love the cars then the average onlooker won't know the difference lol. Thanks for the comments guys much appreciated Coxy

When my front lip gets fitted it will make them look a little smaller. I understand what your sayin bout the size but yer i love em Are hub spacers legal? if they are i might look into that.. It is a gtst lol...its got all the gtr guards n wing n everything. The previous owner was a gtr freak lol its even got gtr on the keys. The lip should be here in a couple of days..
-
I agree completely but when you do 1000km+ a week its too expensive to not be able to rotate the tyres
-
Bought in early February and the first thing i wanted to do was change the wheels. Treads was gettin thin on the rears so i figure why bother just gettin tyres ill go the whole hog n got the wheels aswell. They're called Vertini Hennesseys from Vertini's new range. I bought them from Ozzy Tyres apparently its the first set they've sold. There 19 x 8.5s all round. The rears could do with a bigger offset or could of staggered them but I do too many k's to not be able to rotate my tyres. I got Marongoni(sp?) tyres with them and a free set of locking wheel nuts. All up it cost me $3100 Highly recommend ozzy tyres brilliant blokes and excellent selection. Coxy
