mate 2nite i got the most fkn bullshit defect. exhaust too low, fair enough i dont mind getting it raised and a rwc. that would have cost me $60. instead he lists it as a major defect and a $300 fine. WTF? i was done 20+km over the speed limit and the fine was less that that. also, he didnt tick the RWC box. since when is height a major defect with such a fkn huge fine?

hi guys, ive had a FMIC sitting round for a while and i think its time to have it put on. i want the piping to go back around the cooler, rather than have a hole cut so it will be road worthy. can anyone recommend a good place that will do this and if possible tell me how much it will cost? it can be anywhere in melbourne i dont mind. as long as the place is reliable. so ive spoken to several places in s.e suburbs, a few who said its not possible to do it without cutting a hole, for which i said thanks for your time aka get f**ked u noobs. prices seem to vary from $350 to $1000

spotted a silver r33 gts-t series 2 with sau stickers at glenny this evening park near novotel, and just down from that a worked r32 that was white with a carbon bonnet i think. later in my mates car dragged another silver r33 gts-t down springy road n got fkn pulled over lol cop was like a bloody ghost appearing outta nowhere. $250 later and after a strict ear bashing from a chick cop my mate was on his way again just missing out on a street racing charge

hmmm the blow of valve usually doesnt flutter it should make a whoosh noise unless its one of those VL turbo types. but yeh ur mates car however was it low on fuel? doin that burnout could have sucked in some gunk from the bottom of his fuel tank and thats what the car was running on. otherwise like ash said check the air flow meter is plugged in properly. other than that usually if u treat ur car like shit then it behaves like shit

i actually havent got it fixed yet but i dont think it would cost that much cos its only changing the position of the control arm. should take a professional under an hour im guessing

on the r33 putting a pod on there shouldnt cause any problems at all. sounds like something else is wrong somewhere like ur plugs or coilpacks. as for your r34 im curious is it fluttering cos u also have a front mount? if so thats cool but i hope u havent followed that trend of blocking off the standard blow off valve or whatever people do to make it flutter. i know 3 idiots i warned about that who did it anyway and all 3 blew their turbos

im not sure about the 300v oil but i used the normal turbolight oil and i must say that was the best ive ever used. and it went fine when i took my car for drift and skidpan days and trackdays. runs as smooth as anything.

hey mate i got the same problem! the guy who did my wheel alignment had a look at it and said that my front left control arm needs to be adjusted, meaning that the front left wheel actually sits a cm or so further back than my front right. u can tell if this is ur problem by seeing how many fingers u can fit in between the tyre and ur guard on both wheels. if u can fit more fingers in one of them then like me u need to go to a suspension joint and have the control arm moved to position so the wheels r even. btw woo hoo 100 posts

well right now im on $987 for full comp and rating 1, while my fkn excess is now $2.6k

there is a catch to this tho, i adjusted my premium the other week and found out its not a dollar for dollar exchange when upping ur excess n lowering ur premium. i added $500 to my excess and my premium went down by $200. if i put my excess up by $1000 then i would save probably $500 or so. in the end it aint really all that worth it unless u can pay outta ur ass if u crash

i think the bottom line here is that a P plate driver legally should not be driving a turbo skyline, let alone a twin turbo. however its up to the driver if he wants to risk it and risk getting caught. keep in mind however, especially for melbourne drviers, that a lot of cops out there are out to do over every skyline they see simply because of the hoon activity and the popularity of the car. dont bother asking the car dealers about the laws cos its not their problem if u get pulled over and fined. up to you in the end whether or not u wanna risk it.
