  1. many people have tested both and most have found that keeping a stock setup and perhaps changing to a k n n panel filter would be the best way to go about it and especially if you under the 350awkw mark.. they more for "show" really unless you build a proper box.. i'd keep stock, less attention from police too!
  2. if you have the engine out, i would seriously strengthen your bottom end, i know your not up for big power but, why not have that piece of mind, better to be safe than sorry.. even if its just new rods, keep the standard pistons, they should be fine, its the rods that need to be stronger at that powerm, and also bearings are a must, even if they arent noisy.. n1 pump is fine, have seen them on nearly 400rwkw motors and no problems.
  3. haha yeah my friend won a 350z from a shopping centre!
  4. like i said guys, condition of the rim not so important to me, just after a full set with tyres.. thanks
  5. to do a changeover of turbos you looking at 800 roughly, old ones off, new ones on.. pretty tight area to work with especially if you havent done a gtr before.. its no ordinary commodore where things are a lot easier.. peace of mind dude!
  6. Hey people After a set of 4 x R34 GTR wheels with or without tyres, would prefer with though. Rims do not need to be in the best condition, gutter rash is fine as I am planning on re-spraying them later on. Show me what you have got! Thanks Steven
  7. yeah that is a great price! awesome looking wheel too, suit GTR's to a T!
  8. thanks for the pm guys, would prefer local as im in melb.. aaron ill gat back to you on that price.
  9. Hey guys.. After the complete boot trim set, all moulds, carpets etc for an R32 GTR. PM me what you have.. Cheers Steven
  10. i just had tomei poncams in my gtr and changed them back for stock rb26 cams.. running -5's and got better response and boost came on slightly earlier which you want want with those turbos.
  11. well rb26 out and in roughly would cost 1600 approx... plus, there are a lot of well built rb26's out there putting out a lot of power, just need the right set up/formula to put the right parts all together to make it good!
  12. a lot more custom work involved in dropping it in a gtr chassis, especially if you want to keep the 4wd too i would imagine.. i have heard that its not as easy as one would think...
  13. frankly, if you are going to be stoking the motor, spending 3k on an N1 block in my opinion is not worth it since you are taking out a lot of meat out of the block due to the bigger internals. N1 blocks are perfect for motors built with larger pistons and thats about it. The whole point of going an N1 block is its strength, when you start boring it out your losing that strength and for 3k, thats a lot of money when your not getting its full moneys worth!
  14. i think import monster (aaron) is looking for a set of these last time i spoke to him a couple weeks ago.. try drop him a pm
  15. these cams would suit really well with the -5's as they are great for high end power as the -5's just keep going up high too!
  16. r32line... what year does this dash come out of?
  17. can anyone confirm that this will also suit a GTR??
  18. ill see what i can do Nick.. just so you can see if you get plates later on...
