  1. yeah confirmed that, -5's are not the GTRS's..... The equiv is between -10's and GTRS's which is a much larger turbo and should only be used on a built rb26 + !!
  2. when driving hard and about to go for it, your always going to be right at the start of boost so why not benefit from which give you more power all the way through the high revs, the -7's will run out up high wher the -5's will keep going consistently. Bakes... you wont regret.. trust me! i was in the same boat and was glad i didnt go for the -7's. Its also an investment for future plans.... perhaps!
  3. i think if its a daily driver, then -7's would be the best choice, however if more like a weekend car, -5's... purely because every time that i want to jump into it, i feel that its going to be much quicker when boost comes on and you would enjoy that rush more so! thats why i bought the -5's over the -7's! and yes, i am very happy with them! i have been in an identical gtr to mine but with -7's and can say i do not regret what i did... also, it comes down to if you have future plans for the motor, these turbos would be a great investment should you have to rebuild your current rb26 and not having to worry about spending another 2k + on turbos at that time.
  4. Hey John If Abu doesnt take them, let me know.. I'll come down straight away and take them off your hands. Cheers Steven
  5. you've posted in the for sale section dude.. post ur topic in the "wanted" section!
  6. Hey people.. I have a set of original R32 GTR wheels for sale which are currently on my R32 GTR. I actually bought these wheels of a SAU member Antimatter back in January 08. They are in great condition, very slight gutter rash on a couple rims, barely noticeable though and not even deep rashes. These rims do have tyres on them currently so they are ready to go on to your car. Reason for sale is that I will be upgrading to bigger wheels. Price is $650 firm. They are a very clean example which is rare to come by these days hense why I bought them! I am located in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Please feel free to contact me via pm or on 0413 285 565. Thanks Steven

  12. out of the japanese fuel pumps, which do you beleive is the best choice?
  13. yeah but again.. i guess it comes down to how long will that person be pushing 400rwkw out of that stock rb26!
  14. in terms of kw at the wheels, what would be the saffest power and max power to be running at the wheels.. ie. what figure you should not be aiming to go over.... 350rwkw on an internally stock rb26 ??
  15. i've noticed it too actually, heaps more under covers around these days.. i was actually riding my bike a couple weeks ago when we had that great weather streak, and an undercover pulled me over, 2 coppers dressed casual as!!! and they were from the TMU too! real prick too, no way you could tell if you saw them walking down the street!
  16. Definately good work put in by Ray @ RE Customs.. couldnt be happier!

  18. can anyone compare these two boost controllers with the greddy provec b spec 2 boost controller?? how do they compare??
  19. garrett gt2860 -7's which are equivs to R34 N1's
  20. my understanding with rear main seals is that once they're leaking, its a massive job, an especially for an rb26.. figure that, for a 20c seal!
  21. cory.. nismoid said it perfectly.. its a GTR, spend the extra $$ and do it properly, because in the end of the day, you will be even happier once that boost comes on that little more earlier and produces more power! correct am i not?!
  22. what power did you make with them and how much boost where you running?
