thanks mate, i know this may sound dumb but would you be able to specify where the black clips are and what the TX valve looks like or will i notice it str8 away. any ideas on the cost of a new TX valave

ok it still does it with the stock ecu, i fiddled with the AFM plug and it seemed to fix it. hmmmmmm the plot thickens

ill check that out. ive done a bit of testing, i put the stock ECU back in and it hasnt done it yet.ive got a bit more drving to do and ill get back to ya

Hi all. This is really weird issue. Abouty 3 weeks ago i put in a Power FC, took it to MRC in C'Hill to check the tune and make sure its ok to run, Mark @ MRC did a bit of paying around as it was running to lean, put an extra 15%fuel in per injector. Then it drove like a dream, i drove it from my house in Baulkham hills to the snow in Jindabyne, no issues what so ever, got back no issues. But a few days ago i was driving along and the car started to run a bit rough and the idle went down to around 400rpm and then sometimes stall, the turbo would normally sity on 500mg (vacum) but when it playes up would sit on 0 boost. This only seems to happen when the car warms up a bit and does jnot happen all the time, only sometimes. When it does play up there is alot of black smoke out from the exhaust, and inside the engine bay it stinks of fuel. I 1st assumed it was bad fuel so i ran the tak to almost empty fill up with Optimax again, seemed to fix it untill i was almost home and it did it again. i have a few idea's it might be but i really have no idea maybe Fuel filter blocked? Injectors blocked? The ECU Tune? I have to fix this asap so any help will be great, BTW if it is a ECU issue and you know anything about Power Fc's can you give detailed instructions on how to resolve it. Hi all, my TX valve is blocked, and i have no idea where it is or what it looks like, im told it will either be in the engine bay or under the dash. Does any one know/how i can get instructions/help on this issue for relitivley cheap? i know replacing this valve if its under the dash is a pain in the butt and can be expensive, but sumnmers coming and i cant wait any longer. if you are in sydney and have done this before i will pay you to help me do it. sydneykid. im only with the NRMA for CTP, i have been told that they will not help , im with famous, i spoke to my solicitor today he said the cops cant book you just for the damage done, which is what he was going off, ill see if famous can help...... my solictor said fight it and u will most likely win, ill have to see if the smash repairer took piks cause i didnt. also he told me there is more dmage done to the rear than the front of the car, not in parts but partsd and labour was over 1/2 of the whole quote from the rear. hmmmm

Also, the officer said that he made his decision ans the damage to the front of my car, the raere of the guys i hit and the person that hit me does not justify that i got hit from behind. Damage to car #4 $12000 Damage to my Car $12500 Damage to Car #6 $1500 although when you look at the damage the my car has hit straigt on, if i had hit him 1st i would have been braking and the car would have been pointing downwards, casuing more damage to the top of the car. and My air bag did not come out. which i have been told if i hit him with that much force while braking (facing downwards) it would have., also there is heaps of damage to the rear of my car. hmmmm????
