What we're going on about the clear-coat is we thought its a spray (like paint), or at least I am, which is used for sealing paintwork or making the surface smooth/shiny. These will peel after time and its like a layer of plastic which will become yellowish too.

Sorry? What has that gotta do with growing up? I just re-read your post before this and found you're actually using something like a polish thats work as sealant instead of what we're thinking of. I'm using the Mother range for clear-coat if that helps. Works wonder but you'll still need the wax every 6months or so and polish whenever you need it.

Sorry for the confusion. Its close to 1k all up and that includes the installation of pfc and boost controller kit with a 4wd dyno tune. Probably 3-4hrs worth in tuning I remember.

I'm with TPG ADSL2. Very cheap for 100GB (50/50 peak and offpeak download). Not true ADSL2 (speed wise) but its good enough for the price you're paying, 50bucks for that.

Oh shit. Yea that reminded me of my carbon wing. 100% true. Will get blemish/yellowish over time and flakey. Dont know if quality/brand of clearcoat plays a part in it or not but definitely shit on the carbon wing. PS: not very fun spend hours sanding the clear away.

Question is how long they last and how much. If coating the whole car cost a grand or 2 and last only 1 or 2years, I reckon not a lot will wanna do it considering you'll only need to polish it once a month or fornight. And a lot of us kinda enjoy washing the car.

Yea man. I dont know what the hells been done to the engine but I find stock gtr got the very nice burble sound. But supra, lets just say they sound different. This may make you happy but I find all highly mod cars with huge HP, more than 500 or 600hp sound like tractors. They all goes like te-ter-te-ter......BAM! I remember the sound from a 1000hp supra on youtube. Tris: I'd be able to pick you up depending on the time. If its gonna be Saturday, I'll need to f**k off around 4 though to pick the wify up from work. SO anytime before that it'll be fine. ps: flood control ftl
