  1. im not sure, but i think the problem is to do with the age of the coilpacks.. new coil packs will be fine as the plastic is still soft.. but over years of use and high temps the plactic starts the break down... so if youve got new coilpacks i couldent see why they wouldent last another 10 or so years? personally i keep my cover on.

  4. used to fold a few years ago for a overclocking forum i was on... is anyone on here still folding?? i might get back into it what the hell... last wu was completed on the 6-12-2007.... ill start it up again..

  6. You could try buying a good quality pipe spanner and using that... or is the other end of the pipe disconnected? if yes, could u get a ring spanner on from the other end? give up with the open ended spanner for now... good luck
  7. LTS series computers will need a coilpack with inbuilt igniter.. any "series 2" coilpack ... r33 series 2/ r34 LTX series have inbuilt igniter so they run a "series 1" coil..... r32/ r33 series 1...
  8. exhaust can be used for both ca and sr aswell as for rb conversions... rb front pipes bolt straight up
  9. very disappointed here.. 97.7% finished gt3... played gt4 for countless hours after i left school... then been addicted to forza 2 and then 3 for the last year.. and all i can say is what a letdown this is.. all i was expecting was a game similar to forza.. but all i can think of when i play this is how much like gt4 it is.. and the graphics are terrible.. u dont buy a hi def tv and a ps3 to see ur silvia or skyline in the same graphics it was 7 years ago on the ps2 ... game play feels crap, feels very detached from the car compared to forza 3/2.. .... rant over
  10. oh sorry mate yeah.. took it to npc and the problem was with the pressure plate... i think they said the release springs or something?? all fixed now.. just a million other thing do now haha
  11. maybe.... the guy u bought them off upgraded to some sard ***cc injectors and just put the old injectors in the sard boxes for shipping.. and they could infact be what he told u they were
  12. its not that... i rang npc today and they are confused as the why this is happening... the only thing they can think of it is to see if the pressure plate is working correctly.. ive gotta drive up there in the next few days... ill post up when i figure it out.. thanx mate
  13. anybody have and ideas why this wouldent work then?? ive got a billet flywheel aswell... i think its a bit thinner then standard... should i have a differnet throughout bearing aswell or something??
  14. didnt try adjusting the pedal... but the piston was nearly coming all the way out of the slave.. so we tried a bigger shaft in the slave and still no good.. the fork was moving the fingers 20mm... just looks suspect how on that pull type clutch andrew posted u see the fingers curve up at the end.. mine does that to......
  15. hey mate... no i dont have the gtr box.. i bought this car off a work mate as an unfinished project.. i rang him before and he said he just told npc he wanted a clutch for a rb26 with a rb25 gearbox... i have standard silvia master and standard rb25 slave.. my mate bought the motor by itself.. its a r34 motor by the way i ended up gettin the microtech software to work... had to use xp
  16. hey every1.. after finally gettin my silvia running i found that the clutch wouldent disengage.. so i tried bleeding it and that didnt help then i looked through the hole where the fork goes through and measured the fork movement (20mm) and everything seemed to be working fine( the fork was moving the diaphragm heaps) ... so this afternoon i pulled the box off and my mate is not shure but thinks this is a pull type clutch... can anybody please tell me?? running rb26 with a rb25 box .. thankyou.. wat a pain in the ass...
  17. wonder if it works with windows xp.. does any1 know?? its a pain in the arse to reformat the computer to xp and find out that doesnt work haha

  19. hmmm thanks for ur help jez... im just gunna give up on this laptop idea and go buy a handcontroller... only wanted to take some fuel out of it so i could let it idle and bleed the coolent system... thankyou anyway mate and yeah it has a serial cable 9 pin.. then u have to buy the microtech laptop dongle thing then plug it in the a serial port... well thats the way i had it set up
  20. u mean it uses usb drivers? if so ok ill try and update.. if not im confused... getting drivers form the asus website would be better then using microsoft ones hey?? seems i am up to date... wat a pos...

  22. hey everyone.. thought maybe someone on here could shed some light on this for me since theres not much info on the net... trying to connect to computer but it keeps saying " no connection to ecu" .. on the website it says win 95 , 98 and 2000.... is this problem because im using windows 7?? thankyou

  24. hey everyone.. could anyone please tell me what the vacuum line is for on the rear turbo intake pipe? in the bov return bit... im bloking up the bov returns and would like to get rid of the vacuum line.. its on atmo side of turbo so it cant be nothing to important... thankyou
