  11. they have no souls so they dont deserve birthdays........ in other news, happy birthday to me for yesterday!!!!
  12. its most likely been in the car since the car was built. You can push it and push it but it wont last forever..... sure it may have a little bit of life left in it, but for a few hundred bucks you can get an excellent upgrade and not have to worry about it from then onwards. I bought a second hand GTR pump for my GTST, worked great for a while, then eventually it too started to die, so had to spend more money on a new BOSCH one. Do it right the first time.
  13. i had a seriously shitty week at the office, but reading this made my week, honestly, its awesome, not only has it made my week better, but also makes me feel better about myself maybe i am not so dumberer after all....... ahhh good times..... this will be a doozy!!!!!! "Honey, clear my schedule, we got a ripper thread here i dont want to miss"
  14. i am no turbo guru, but do it right the first time, then you dont have the doubt in the back of your mind thinking "when" will it/they let go.......
  15. there are also plenty of return flow front mount intercooler kits that you can use which sit very well as they use the stock intercooler pipes in the engine bay. I have a BLITZ LM Return flow one, but i have a series 2 front bar, sits perfectly flush and its black too so does not grab any un-necessary attention..... Just a thought. Oh yeah and you dont need to cutt any holes in the engine bay, just a slight few cms off the back of my front plastic bar and thats it.
  16. the accident is 100m from my Dads work. A few years ago a 200SX and an Integra type R were racing here, the Type R was wrapped around a telegraph pole, literally wrapped around on the passenger seat side, no chance a passenger survived that, if there was one. I used to live down the road from the place of these crashes, its a 60km/hr zone with some long windy corners 2 lanes each way, its all too tempting to go fast here but the cops love it with their radars.......... A guy from my Dads work was t boned at the lights 50m away by a commodore running a red light........ sure is no shortage of accidents here. Poor families is all i can say.....
  17. You want to get your rocks off? Oh........ you mean scissor paper rock off Well you've been a member much longer than me, not sure how long you've had that pic up. I have only ever had one Avatar, this one from day one........ Only cos some of my friends call me Arnie...... even though i'm Andy..... So for me, I guess who ever has had it longer can keep it, thoughts?
  18. Thanks for the DVD full of pics. Some truly amazing shots in there. PLENTY of pics of my Dads Audi, he will be a very happy man when he see's them. Thanks to everyone who put this DVD full of pics and the video together. Perfect for people like me who had a camera on the day but the battery died after 3 pics D'OH!!!! Cheers, Andy
  19. my 2 cents, i am far from a turbo guru, but my old R33 had a R33 GCG high flow on it, not sure what actuator, with all supporting mods and profec B spec II boost controller and i was running 20psi and made 255rwkw on a nice conservative tune from UNIGROUP. I used 15psi around town most of the time.
  20. Yavuz is a deadset legend, he is a master at his work. Every time my car has been there, when i collect it, he throws me the keys and tells me to go for a drive to make sure i am happy with it....... and everytime the car has blown me away.
  21. Awesome effort Eric, thanks for going on a "burning frenzy" and getting them all done so soon. Cant wait to see them. My Dad keeps bugging me everyday asking where his DVD is, yesterday i told him if he asked me one more time i will throw it in the bin when it arrives!!! He is like a little kid, all excited. Cheers again Eric and for everyone who helped compile the pics/video. Andrew
  22. Tops mate, that would be great. Cheers!!!!
  23. Top video, Epic mate, well done. Cheers! Love the "offs" at the very end....
  24. Its just the way GT-RS turbo's are. I have a GT-RS turbo with a APEXi pod filter, and YES it is extremely loud whistling noise. On a long drive it does get annoying, but my exhaust is pretty loud too, so it drowns it out a bit, and i always have my stereo at a decent volume so it does not bother me too much. Put a stock airbox with snorkel back in and there will be ZERO whistle. But the trade off is you can hardly hear your turbo at all........ At first the whistle was a bit much, but its grown on me nicely. I borrow my mates ute sometimes and he takes my car, and he freaking loves it, even if he does not have to go anywhere he goes for a drive...... so whatever floats your boat i guess.
