  1. Hi5 to everyone! Manual FTW!!! Now, now Luke...
  2. Hmmm, damned shame about not being able to sell merchandise. Oh well, I am pushing to have stuff ready soon, so at least those attending can look the part, and represent SAU as a "team" of sorts... Maybe it can be promoted that we have stuff available via the forums and at meets/cruises/track days, etc. technically, we won't be breaking the rules if we're not actually selling the merchandise at the display, correct?
  3. Damned shame, Mikey! Hope your recovery is quick. Make sure you demand hot nurses, it makes the whole recovery process a lot easier!
  4. Correct. I found using GPS that my speedo is about 4km/h optimistic, which is good in a way because I at least know that when I think I'm doing a certain speed, I'm actually travelling below it, so I won't get any grief from Cops or speed cameras, etc. The speedo on my old man's Camry, however, is VERY accurate when compared to GPS readings!
  5. I'm currently in Canberra at my aunty's house in Kaleen, and right next door I spotted a gunmetal R33 sedan parked with NSW plates, JVxxx (I didn't look at the numbers properly).
  6. No worries Andrew. Happy birthday! I might head down to StreetScene tomorrow for a little while, but I was actually planning on leaving to head home at around 4, so I'll see how I feel and decide from there. I had a look at the thread the other night, but will have another look soon to see what the go is...
  7. PM replied, thanks Luke...
  8. Spotted Albert's R34 outside his work about 15mins ago, and a beautiful clean white R32 GT-R turning off Kildare Rd into Third Ave behind Westpoint in Blacktown about 10mins before that.
  9. Just saw two batches of three each on some non-descript Korean wagon, Daewoo or Hyundai or something. Three on the rear windscreen (one large one and two small) and the same on the drivers side rear-most window, just around the corner of the car from the rear windscreen one.
  10. PM replied, thanks Marc.
  11. I'll be down in Canberra as of Friday night, and heading back home Sunday. Assuming the misfire is gone (I changed plugs today, as well as the timing belt), I'll be bringing the Dragon Wagon. Who's up for a quick meet-up some time on Saturday evening/night? Terminal?
  12. What happens if there's an earthquake? I hope (and assume) the aftershocks won't be too bad...
  13. Ok, thanks for that. I'll see how I go. Used it today, and it made that "cracking" noise (like when you're trying to remove a really tight nut/bolt) every couple of minutes as it slowly started dropping bit by bit under the weight of the car. We used stands, of course, but weren't under the car for too long anyway.
  14. No probs. Dunno how they come off, you might have to ask Andy (EGA41T) to have a look at his...
  15. Bought a head unit today, and some rear co-axials to match my front Boston splits. Hopefully, I will fit these next week some time. My front speaker mounts had to be chopped up heaps too for the magnets to fit, and some of the mounting holes didn't line up properly. I might have to borrow a jigsaw and get some MDF to make some decent pods for them, and maybe the back too depending on the quality of the fit.
  16. I tried a Google search too, but would prefer a recommendation if someone can offer me one. I just want to know if it's worth keeping and repairing, or just buying a new one...
  17. Maybe they DO have a clue! And you do realise that this is SkylinesAUSTRALIA, so like it was mentioned, we have rules and regulations that we have to abide by, and the police generally aren't too keen on modified cars, especially so if it's an import you're driving... Not to mention the crappy roads that most of us are subjected to here, so we have to make a compromise between drivability and performance. I'm lucky in the sense that my car is still standard, who knows if I'll start attracting negative cop action when I have the suspension sorted and some nice wheels on it.
  18. I just bought the Japanese HyperRev catalogues, and those roof rail covers are in there. Unfortunately, I can't read Japanese... Abflug make small covers to go over the holes when you remove the roof rails. G-square and Take Lows make covers which look to go right from the front of the rails to the back, but I've also seen them appear on Stageas built up by Garage Reckless, HKS Tokyo, St Garage and Signal Auto I'm not too sure how current the links are, but here goes: http://www.takero-s.jp http://www.g-reckless.com http://www.signalauto.co.jp
  19. Dunno, personally, I've always hated the stretched look of a tyre. And larger tyres on 18's will only look stupid if you pick the wrong profile for the width...
  20. Yep, the R33 GTR wheels fit, SydneyKid has a set on his Stagea and it looks HOT!!!
  21. Spotted a beautiful Midnight Purple R33 GT-R with SA plates, then about an hour later an equally hot white R34 GTt sedan!
  22. Yep, confirm me as In please Richard.
