  1. Spotted a black 4-door R34 in Cabramatta this arvo around 4pm, then a dark blue V35 coupe (possibly 350GT) in Parramatta, turning off Marsden Street onto the Great Western Highway at around 5.30pm
  2. Are you guys using the dynos in the evening/at night, John? I know MazSport is in Seven Hills too, but I also know that what I've been hearing over the past two weeks aren't rotaries! I live literally right on the other side of the water catchment area behind UAS, so I'll be heading in there soon to get some things sorted on my car...
  3. I'd guess you'd use the R33 stopper. See if you can get one for a test fitting before you buy it.
  4. Steve-O (N1GTR) and I were on our way home from an almost useless trip up to Cessnock today, and we spotted quite a few cars today with these friggin' flowers on them. I still don't get it... Why? What do they symbolise? What moral fibre do they portray that the owner has/had/does not have?
  5. Congrats on the baby! As for repairs, I wish I could help. I haven't had to chase down a repairer in quite a while - and I hope I never have to. In saying that, you're lucky in that you've got a huge choice here in the areas you're looking at. May I suggest using someone the pretige new car dealers also use, but who also have experience with Skylines and imports in general...
  6. Where the hell are you gonna relocate your oil filter to, Grant? I can't find anywhere decent to put one without it then being in the way of something else! Most people with Skylines, etc. put them on the front of the driver's side strut tower, but the Stagea has a massive fuse box there, so that kinda rules that out...
  7. Man, where can I get me a Vicki of my own? Yes, I may be slightly obsessed...
  8. Suits me, I'll take Vicki B-H then!
  9. Does the camera signal have to be converted to PAL? That might be an issue, and it's one I'd like to resolve should I ever choose to add a display and camera.
  10. I drove home from a wedding in Penrith last night at about midnight, and I could still smell the rubber from the burnouts as I was going past the Shell servo on the Highway at Eastern Creek.
  11. Congrats Shaun! I've got no nephews and nieces, but plenty of friends and cousins (big families on both my parents' sides) with kids, and I've got a God-daughter and a God-son.
  12. PM sent...
  13. Ewww... Bad memories from playing gigs at UN/DCM's... I REALLY hope your nights there are better than my experiences there, Mars!
  14. Hey Richard had a chance to go through your latest pics yet? I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting for you to upload some more shots from your adventures! Oh yeah, PM sent about the Defi's...
  15. The best person to ask about this is Alex, as he's done the conversion from s1 to s2 front.
  16. Displaying your car there could be a good way to generate some interest for a sale, Jess.
  17. Spotted a silver s1 Stagea heading into the complex where Unique Autosports used to be in Castle Hill, around 5.30pm tonight... Looked to have standard wheels, so it wasn't "PranK" Christian's old car - his has s2 taillights on it anyway...
  18. Spotted a white R34 GTt following behind me on Merindah Rd in Baulkham Hills around 5.30 or 6pm tonight, then they turned left onto Seven Hills Road. Also spotted a silver s1 Stagea heading into the complex where UAS used to be in Castle Hill.
  19. Hahaha, don't worry Heath. I've been on SAU right from the start, and was on SDU before that (which means I've been around a looooong time), and I only got something Skyline-based about 15months ago... I did the same thing you did - studied up heaps and learnt a lot of stuff which now comes in (somewhat) useful!
  20. Congrats, Paul and Stacey!
  21. Makes mine look like a Navara with a canopy on the back.
  22. Looks good Aaron, nice work!
  23. Although my fabrication skills amount to zero, I think the idea of leaving that small 0.25" (6mm) lip is a good counter-measure to the wastegate angle creating turbulence when the wastgate gasses meet the exhaust gasses. It might even mean that the angle of the pipe where the gasses meet won't really create too many flow issues at all...
  24. That could well be Andrew "wolverine" or his wife. Did you get a chance to see if it was an RS Four S?
  25. I think these two responses are rather appropriate.
