  1. Great photos everyone! Was an awesome day - hot, but there was a nice breeze blowing most of the time, and the shade helped a lot.
  2. Glad I decided NOT to get one, would have been a waste... The dogs didn't even like it! Zed and Zilla - what cool names for dogs.
  3. Can I vote? I've been to WA three times, does that count?
  4. ...until Brad (CruiseLiner) gets his going again! But seriously, Jay's (old) car was a beast!
  5. C34 was listed too, by the way (Y9,500? - did I read that right?)! I checked (even though I have no intention of getting one). BTW, I am currently working on getting some official SAU windscreen heat shields (amongst other things) done, so keep an eye out for these. If you have any other ideas for Merchandise, feel free to add them to the thread I've started (the link is in my signature)!
  6. Those wheels are alright, but too common for my liking - even if you rarely would see/have ever seen them on a Stagea. But that's just my opinion... I prefer the subtle street sleeper - nice wheels, lowered suspension, and a few detail items here and there to set the car off, but not draw too much attention except from other enthusiasts. As far as wagons being VIP's, there was a black Toyota Crown posted ages ago done by Junction Produce, who mainly focus on VIP-style cars anyway... Looks very similar to an s1 Stagea, so I think the results will be to your liking. I actually quite like it myself!
  7. If you're talking about the atmo GTS, then I couldn't tell you, but if it's the GTSt, then the engine is exactly the same, so the cams won't be any different.
  8. Give that boy a New! Haha, nah, he's a bit young... Great idea though - if I had (new) pics or vids, I'd send them to you. I'll send you the old ones from the cruise back in May(?) though, with me, Jay, Andy and Brendan. Should I use your Hotmail address, Mike?
  9. Bunch of bloody hoons, they are, these Skyline drivers... Get a Volvo! (A Nissan "Volvo," that is!)
  10. Me + 1, thanks Kel... Also, LINKY!
  11. AFAIK they should be exactly the same, other than the colour.
  12. Buy a Z32 300ZX, tip it over, put it in the water, problem solved!!!
  13. Tops - fixed straight away, ya gotta love that!
  14. Anyone else keen? It's bound to be a good day out, and it's a family-friendly day! Memberships can be taken on the day...
  15. They certainly do. Added to the first post...
  16. Spotted two white R33 GTSt's, a black R33 GTSt and a black R34 GTt (all parked) in Pitt and Hunter Streets tonight between roughly 9.30 and 11.15pm. I'd parked my Stagea directly across the road from the R34...
  17. Treat it right, keep it properly tuned and regularly serviced, and don't thrash it at EVERY SINGLE opportunity and it should last for ages (not sure how many kays, though, sorry). There is a Stagea owner here who also owns an R30 Skyline that has done over 350,000kms with (as far as I know) the original L-series motor. Nissan engineering is pretty sturdy, so there's no reason you couldn't expect to at least reach 200,000 at a minimum if you treat it right.
  18. Hmm, I'll be staying around home (Sydney) most of Christmas and New Year's, and have a wedding to attend on January the 5th. I've got no plans to come down to Canberra, but I do have relo's down there who I can stay with if I come. Having NSW, ACT, Qld and Vic Stageas all together would be awesome!
  19. Not necessarily, Brendan, although not too long ago I would have thought the same thing... Off topic: How are the knees?
  20. Hmmm, mine's a series 1 converted to manual, so I can't really compare. As Ska would say, it's an RS-Four V+S. Probably the best people to compare notes with are others with S2 RS-Four S's - Wolverine, EGA41T (Andy) and Oxford1327 (Daniel) for a start. Daniel's the one who has it in the hand-brake recess. Personally, I think that's a handy spot for a turbo timer or similar, but not for a guage - imagine how long it would take to look down, find the gauge behind the steering wheel, re-focus your eyes, check the reading, then look up again and re-focus on the road again. Recipe for disaster...
  21. So does that kinda mean you have a series 2 series 2, in effect?
  22. Well, as far as pubs, you're basically IN one, so that's not an issue. Nightclubs are a short walk away if you pick either of the city venues (O'Connell Street or York Street) with George Street being so close, and the Manly one is pretty much along the main stretch of The Esplanade. I think there are a few clubs along there.
  23. I'm guessing if you still chose to run it for an extended period of time, then you'd still be at risk of burning your clutch packs out.
  24. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=145781
  25. Andy, ever the salesman... That's a very rare feature, as far as I know. Apart form Andy's car, I've only ever seen it on one other Stagea. I think there might be a few other items that can use the fitting, but I don't know that for sure. Someone with FAST or a factory brochure (Mike?) could be able to confirm this... I think the thing with the yellow sticker on it is just a protective dust cover or something like that. I'm guessing (again) that there's two outlets so you can move the light or whatever is plugged in, or have two things plugged in at the same time.
