So i might be a little late posting here, but better late than never right? My name's Steve, but everyone calls me Wogan (surname). Almost 6 months ago now i picked up a nice black 32 gts-t that had done 94,000k's and had a 3" cat-back exhaust and pod filter. Since then i've put in a greddy fmic, gtr fuel pump, and (crappy) manual boost controller. I've got a few other bits n peices that are slowly making their way into the car. I've been posting a little on these forums, mostly looking for parts and advice when my car had issues (turned out to be a loose wire.. how embarrassing). Anyway, hoping to meet more skyline owners.. Tried signing up to SAUWA, but not sure what next step is after filling out the form on the website. - Wogan

when using the electric window function to go all the way up / down without having to hold the button, once the window reaches it's destination it decides it would like to lock the doors... mostly Also if i have the air con on for more than 10 minutes straight, it refuses to turn off until i switch the car off completely.

amazing price.. 2 questions... What are the weight of the DTM Rush Shadow Silver in 8.5 width? Also what is the least offset that these can fit in a R32 GTS-T without having guards rolled?

I had exactly the same issue.. Turned out to be the crank angle sensor.. it definately is possible that it's the AFM, but there are a few sensors that can cause these sorts of problems. Allstar Garage did a great job of diagnosing it.

damn.. Any suggestions on where to get my car fixed? .. i'm in the Wembley area. Had a problem for a few months now where the car misfires under load when it's hot. Originally around 4000rpm.. been getting worse with time / increasing weather temp.. now happens 3000 or below Replaced fuel pump and spark plugs... installed a fuel pressure regulator... tried 2 sets of standard coilpacks.. tried aralditing each set of coilpacks to insulate them better... Car is an R32 gts-t. Mods are: pod filter, fmic, 3" catback exhaust For some reason i'm getting 11psi boost (though i haven't been able to use it in a couple months) without any boost controlling device. .. Only other concern i have about the car is the standard oil pressure gauge reads low, but i've heard those are really unreliable.

Hi, I've been trying to book my car in at Speedworks since the start of the new year.. No-one seems to be answering the phone. Had a friend check the shop itself last week while i was at work, and he said it was closed for Xmas till the 14th of Jan.. but yesterday and today i've had no answer on the phone again. Thought i'd double check the phone number is 9242 8888 ? Anyone know if they have reopened? Their website seems to be dead aswell.

As title states i am looking for a front lip spoiler for my GTR front bumper as mine is missing. Aftermarket or standard i don't really mind. Been looking for one for almost 6 months, so if anyone has any ideas that could assist my search i'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Steve

another thing i find interesting is that my car is making about 12psi of boost without a boost controller installed.. inspected the wastegate actuator and the hose feeding it, but they seemed fine. The previous owner hadn't done much work to the car and didn't have a working boost gauge. could it be that i'm getting too much boost and the standard ECU is cutting the fuel?

ok this is really annoying me now.. problem is still happening with araldited coils and spaller plug gaps.. gonna try air flow meter next.. Were you getting the same symptoms when your airflow meter was faulty Pandaah? next to try after that will be ignition module.. how do i go about testing that?

hahaha.. maybe you can donate me the cash mr engineer sir. but yeah.. me n Steve found tonight that my coils are arcing onto the block seems the "new" coils were about the same condition as the old ones. gonna araldite them and reduce the plug gap.. should do the trick.

well more testing has been done and the problem is still there.. gonna try aralditing the coils and reducing the spark plug gap... hopefully that can help.

put in an autotechnica fuel pressure regulator.. i don't recommend them.. crappy cheap parts, broke in a couple places, but managed to get it working in the end. fuel pressure was only 35psi when idling.. upped it to 60psi at idle and seems to have fixed the problem.. more testing (aka fanging it) needed, but signs look good. Thanks Gaz n Pal for the suggestions.

boost is fine.. actually a little higher than i expected.. gettin about 12psi maybe the fuel pressure regulator?

Hey, I made a couple posts in the "car not accellerating propperly" thread, but still having problems with my car. It's a 1990 R32 gts-t Here are my current modifications: pod filter 3" cat-back exhaust FMIC Here is my problem: When the car is hot, if i accellerate hard, the engine pops and misfires at about 3500rpm. Only happens under load and only when i've been driving for about 5 mins or so and it's nice n warm. Here's what i've done so far to try and fix it: Upgraded fuel pump to one from an R33 GTR New spark plugs Replaced coils with 2nd hand ones from another 32 gts-t Not sure what's going wrong.. seems like it's a fuel or ignition problem, but i can't quite tie it down. I put in a fuel mixture display kit from Jaycar to see if it was rich or lean when it spits n pops, but the lights just flash from lean to rich and back over n over again. I'm pretty much out of ideas. Maybe i need to upgrade coils. Maybe i should try regapping the spark plugs.. i really don't know anymore. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. May end up that i'll just have to take it to a garage with a dyno to get it diagnosed. better start saving my $$
