Do a search, there was a topic like this a few weeks ago. Personally I say do it, but I'm a fan of doing things differently. As for the engine, buy a well looked after example, low kms and you should be sweet. Pull it apart and have a quick look before you put it in just to make sure it's all good. SN1P3R had 15% all round, took it off the front windows and passed. Just who you get really. My mate's dad drives a limo Statesman (not stretched though) and he needs to remove the tint every year to go over the pits so it's a bit confusing. Maybe the laws have changed recently?

If it's obviously not working when they pull you over then they might sticker you for it, but if it isn't there at all then they probably won't even think about it. Worth the risk. My mate never had one but decided to put one in to go over the pits just in case. We used double sided sticky tape to tape a cheap $5 red light to the parcel shelf and no one asked a question. Do 2 coats of clear then see how it goes. Of of needs more do another one. As for the eye-level brake light, that looks really out of place. If I was you I'd remove it completely and put it back if you get stickered. A friend of mine has pasted the pits 3+ times without an eye level brake light on her 33.

Yeh I've heard of the headlight thing, but they usually just measure the ground clearance. He didn't say it was too low though, so I'm not sure if he's worried about that. As for being too loud, a friend of mine has a decat and 3in exhaust with only a cannon muffler which passed the pits 3 times before being stickered for being "too loud". So it depends on the cop. Buy another silencer from any decent exhaust shop and put that in for the day. As for the fan shroud, he's just desperate. I'm guessing it's not even aftermarket? Can you post a photo of it? Doesn't need it Benson, plugs are so fouled I lose 200kms worth of fuel into the exhaust, which makes for a fair few bangs, even when driving normally! Sequoia, I was going to PM you and see if you wanted to come along. Be good to see [200SXY] out and about even for just one leg, or [iNATI] or even [308TUNNER] just to mix things up. WGMG?? This... Parked on my mates driveway leaving PLENTY of space, only to come home to this ^^ My number is on my front windscreen, yet no phone call. No note, nothing. I have NO idea how they managed to hit my car, but somehow, they did!! Looking closer today, the head light is cracked, the fender is bent so doesnt sit flush with the head light or bonnet, is dented, the side skirt is scratched, my GT badge is scratched, my door is f**ked. I wouldnt mind so much if they offered to pay, but just driving off have f**king pissed me off. I'm SOOOOO careful where I park it, and I come back to THIS!! For f**ks sakes, I dont have the money to spend on this! I'm buying a new car soon

I've driven most of it. I've had to modify the map slightly so haven't had time to run through that section, but it'll be fine. Checked it all over multiple times so the map should be fine.
