  1. Looks nice mate. I love my SAUWA stickers as well. I saw that car at the Plex on Wednesday. Next time I'll have to come say hi.
  2. Thats better! Haha. I was at Malaga Auto Repairs, but my boss got rid of me for no real reason, so I'm starting at Jason Mazda very soon. But in the mean time I'm in down time at MITA I was going to be a heavy diesel mechanic but the foreman at my work experience place was an arsehole and my now ex-boss offered me an apprentiship so I took it. Congrats on qualifying though!
  3. Bubba, I read somewhere you live near the river. Therefore I assume its not "dodgy". How would I know? I live next to Mirrabooka.
  4. Firstly, Ryan could you try using some punctuation? Its really hard to read without fullstops and commas. Secondly, what a crap trade! I love pulling engines down, but I couldnt do it all the time! Much rather do a mechanics apprentiship (which I am) and do a bit of engine conditioning. Thanks for that though, I've always wondered what it meant.
  5. I'd offer my garage, but its full unfortunately. Mirrabooka isnt too bad. My mate's cars have been outside for over 2 years without a problem. His dad's truck gets targeted but the Commodore with decent sound system doesnt? Actually I agree with you. Mirrabooka is dodgy
  6. Its just on the drive way there. I have no idea why he leaves it outside, mine has never spent a night outside the garage or a car cover since I've bought it. I'll sms him the suggestions and he can organise it from where he is.
  7. No, his sister, brother-in-law, mother, and father are all live there as well, there is always someone home.
  8. Hey guys, I'm posting this up on behalf of Hoony, who is currently unable to access the internet. Last night around 7:45 there were two R33s parked outside his house, one was a black one, the other was white. The drivers were of bigger build, and were wandering around his car which is parked outside the house. When they saw his sister looking through the window, they quickly ran to their cars and left. Most people here know Andrew (Hoony)'s car, it's a gun metal grey R34 GTT skyline with a full URAS body kit, no spoiler, and black boot and bonnet. Also has 19in Starcorp rims. The car is located in the Mirrabooka area. If you know anything about this, or you were one of the guys, we would appreciate if you could PM me (NA_Goodness) so I can let Andrew know. This may be completely innocent, however the last thing we want is to come home to find his car broken into/missing. Any information is much appreciated
  9. Girls... Why doesnt this surprise me?? You too have waaaaaaay too much time on your hands... Or feet?
  10. I wouldnt miss this for the world! I'll be there fo' shizzle!!
  11. I was going to take my lil NA down and see what it can do, but couldnt get a helmet in time. Doesnt matter, I'll still be down there. I'm wearing my SAUWA shirt!
  12. He can bring a Charade for all I care! I don't discriminate, he's more then welcome. He doesn't want an NA Skyline... Does he?
  13. You wont lose your license. I got done doing 135kms on the freeway (I had to get home and go to bed cos it was late and I had work the next day... Never again!!) It was 5 points and $700. A radar detector is a good idea, but so is slowing down. I''ve lost 11 points in 12 months, trust me, speeding isnt worth it!! I've paid more on speeding fines then a radar detector would cost
  14. Woo Hoo! NA buddy!! I might ahve my GTSt by that time though
  15. All you people talking about new turbos, please remember my car is non-turbo!! Please dont leave me behind Good to see there is a fair amount of interest! If anyone can copy and paste this into the SilviaWA and Antilag forums it would be appreciated.
  16. 95% of engine wear happens when the engine is cold. Thats why taxis engines start to go at 1,000,000kms, and trucks get their engines rebuilt when they clock back to 0 only because they can. I've worked on trucks with over 500,000kms with engines that are fine, and cars that have bearing noise at just over 200,00kms.
  17. Losing your job because you can't keep up with the pace of the other guys you work with. I'm a 2nd year apprentice mechanic, the other guys have 35+ years experience. Slightly annoyed...
  18. It'll be Leo...
  19. Teo!! Good to see your still here! Ok guys, I'm running through the map tomorrow afternoon. Should be good. Keep spreading the word!
  20. Julz: if you notice, the first post is actually similar formatting to your cruise thread, so is the first meetpoint and time. I may have used your idea of coastal sunset drive. But the map isn't the same. Mel: Last Drift Battle finished about 4, so I'm hoping it does this time as well. I don't want everyone to miss my cruise to go to Drift Battle.
  21. I'll probably change it to the weekend after if it interferes with Drift Battle. Will be a Saturday though, stay tuned! It starts south, before heading north, then east, then west again to a central location.
  22. Is it the same day as Drift Battle? If it is I'll change it!

  24. Fibreglass kits are fine as long as they arent too low and they're secured properly. Ossie21 has passed the pits with a highmount, with permits. Might be worth asking him?
  25. 7 in 10 years? I havent been in a single accident in 19 years... I always thouhht the C-West kit was ugly, but I saw one on a white one on Mel's cruise, and it didnt look too bad!
