Who ever told you that is talking shit. External wastegates are the same as internal wastegates, only not part of the turbo. As long as it is plumbed back into the exhaust before the cat the exhaust gasses still pass through, therefore no extra emmisions are released. A screamer pipe (vent to atmosphere) is illegal for 2 reasons. 1: Extra emmisions. 2: Noise. Sounds great though They can yellow you for it, but I doubt they're fine you for it. I know plenty of people who have been stickered for having no cats, decat pipes, some have even gone over the pits like that. They fail, but it just means they dont get rid of the sitcker.

Yes it does look strange, and no the GT-R lights do not just plug in. However, I'm pretty sure you dont need to change your headlights, bonnet or grill to fit the front bar, and I know the 32 GTR front bar fits perfectly to GTS fenders

M-Spec side skirts fit all R33s. I put some on my S1 and it looks MUCH better. Got them for $150

Do a search on Google, there will be plenty of information on the net. Step 4. Find out if it runs Step 5. Rebuild the RB25. This way, if the old engine doesn't work it won't matter. Just rebuild it again and learn from it. Then when you're ready, try the RB25DET. that's what I'm looking at doing in the near future, it'll also help me get into performance mechanics in the future.
