There was a thread on here not so long ago about the legalities of lock bars, and we came you the conclusion they're legal. The only hold your rear wheels straight which is a gold thing! Pulling the globe won't do anything but stop the HICAS light from coming on. None of the globes are interconnected. The HIDs will be illegal so swap them out. If you don't want them any more, I might be interested. Have you checked the car for everything else? All lights work, no oil leaks, exhaust not too loud, those things?

Hey Paul! That was my mates cruise, although I organized most of it. I wanted the map to be easy and simple due to the wet weather, and I was expecting more people. As for the map, I mixed up Woodvale and Whitfords. I felt pretty stupid, but it all worked out. As for the money, it definately will be going to charity. When we do donate it, we'll post the reciept up here to show were legit. Again, appologise for the muck ups.

I'll go on 2-3 cruises a week, and maybe see a cop once a month. At most, all they'll do is drive through and make sure everyone is behaving. No one says anything to them unless neccessary. It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, come along to one, run one leg, and see if you enjoy it. I highly doubt your car is as highly modified as Paul's is, so if you get stickered, no big deal.

Yeh, my alarm has the built in turbo timer, hit the button twice and it turns off. Guys, be careful when you get your alarms installed. Most installers throw them in as quickly as possible, which means they are quite visiable and easily accessable to thieves. Best way to do it is pull the entire dash apart, hide it right at the back, making it IMPOSSIBLE to be bypassed by theives. Just my 2c

I havent actually done anything to it. Well, I cut the little tags off from the rear numper plate and relocated the front plate, but I've since moved it back... Oh yeah, NEVER BUY WHITE WHEELS!!! I learnt that with my last car... Then bought a car with white wheels again

We had some guys go through and try and open everyones doors. Even had one guy leaning on my car while he watched the RC Drift cars, I was so f**king pissed. Set the alarm off and he moved along Gonz, our cars werent the best under the bonnet. All but mine (Silver R33 with white wheels) and Sam's car (SLYDR) had standard turbo, but mine is only highflowed and Sams engine has leaks everywhere. Basically, they arent that special beneith the bonnet unlike all the AntiLag cars. This way, we leave everyone is suspense. You should have asked us to pop the bonnets for you. I'd be more then happy to show it off every now and then. Btw, I was the guy explaining about the coilpacks and sparkplugs.

Mine came with an Autowatch one, works great. Not sure how much though. Go to your local car audio store and ask around.

If I was you, I'd keep looking. Buy something that is already registered so you dont have any issues. Thats just my 2c though

As an apprentice mechanic, my hands are full of cuts. I'm surprised I don't go home feeling woozey due to blood loss But it's all worth it in the end.

Dont pay a mechanic to do it, its not too hard. Start off with painting/polishing your rocker cover and spark plug cover. Next, take all your intake piping off and get it sanded/polished. Looks mint when thats done. Relocate your fuse box to under the dash, hide your overflow bottle and washer bottle, and carbon canister. If your more serious, hide all your wiring, get a GReddy forward facing manifold, and a highmount turbo. Then go nuts with the chroming/painting until everything is perfect.

Change your spark plugs and fuel filter, and if that doesn't help try a throttle body clean. If that doesn't work, it might be something more serious.

I agree, too many around. White is a pretty common colour as well though. Nothing a few $$$$s and a spray painter can't fix.

Silver 33 ftmfw! Haha. I'm slighty biased, ive had 2 Congrats mate, it's a nice looking car. Pay the loan off first then go nuts. Turbo, front mount, pod, Z32 afm, ECU, full exhaust, easy 300hp. Just don't forget handling and braking though. Let us know how you go!

Batteries charge at 14 volts so I'm guessing the car was on whenyiu measured it? If thats the case then the alternator is fine. A rearing of 8.9v is too low for a healthy battery, so it could have adeqd cell. Either way, get the battery tested (takes 2 minutes) just to be sure.

Surely my car made up for it? It's more of a boat show, but still fun.
