Well yeh, like i said i want something for street and track, that performs in all weather conditions... so the ku36's up front sounds like the best, and the federal ss595 on the rears. where is the cheapest place to get these tires in melbourne, inner east suburbs.. around camberwell area? i was thinking tyre power in hawthorn.

im proboably gonna go 225/40/17... now to decide which tires... hmmm gonna check out kumho ku36's for the front and rear or ku36 just front, and federeal ss595 for the rear. or federal 595rs front and federal ss595 for rear. should i go cheaper tyres on the rear? the federal ss595 seems like a good option as a rear.

At the moment im thinking Federal 595rs on the front and Federal 595ss(super steel) on the rear. As far as sizes/dimension... i just looked up pics of a 225/45/17 on a 9.5" wheel and that is huge stretch. but 235/35/17 doesnt look stretched much at all. so dunno... 225/45/17 225/40/17 235/45/17 225/40/17 cheers, jack.

Hey all, Got a new set of wheels coming this week hopefully, XD9's in 17x9.5 with +17 offset for my 32 gtst. So what im looking for is new tires all round, preferably the best value tyres for your money. The car is used as a drift street/track car and not a daily. They will need to be stretched, so they can fit in the guards, cos my car will be slammed with the coilovers. So basically, I am looking for dimensions of tires and the specific tyres that would be most approriate for this setup and style. I may go something cheaper on the rear because chances are they will be worn pretty quickly. Any suggestions? cheers, jack.

would be hard to find a small na motor with 230kw... even a v6 will be big.. i reckon go a 13bt, small and very powerful... lacking in the torque yes, but in a car that will most probably be very light will it need alto or torque? or and sr20det.

gtst rims and tires only worth bout $150 and gtr wheels with tires only worth about $250-300. around $600 for a set with tires.

Here are some pics guys of how its sitting atm! got it on stockies for the skidz.. but got both sets of wheels at home... and the vertex rear bar, just no skirts... but yeh... looks better without imo. As you can see body is reasonably good.. theres a couple of scratches and chips and other little imperfections. interior is also reasonably good... seats are lil faded on top, couple of little things missing, most of the air vents are in good cond. Just changed the diff oil today also and got everything checked, brakes, etc. and all is good keep in mind, there are many spares with the car that will make it alot easier to get rwc... would like to sell asap.....

anyone????? i been sliding in this car only a couple of times, hasnt been crashed, no taps, gutters, etc.. still in the same cond as when i bought it a month ago.... slides very well

They are the stock black metallic kinda colour, just been painted 6 months ago. has a few scrapes on the bottom corners near the wheel arches. But u could fix them up with touch up paint i guess. Rears arent as good, possibly rear left blown but havnt been checked out, would probs suit a rebuild. Damper adjustable and height adjustable all round.
