Hey everyone i was looking into some clutches because mine has a bit off slip in it. I’m pretty sure its the clutch.. ill give you guys a quick scenario so then people can let me know defiantly if it sounds like the clutch is slipping.. For example if I’m at the light i have to take the clutch out a bit and then it doesn’t grip until the last moment and then grips…that’s the same as say I’m going around 60km/h in 3rd and then accelerate it doesn’t pull hard as it use to. At the moment it has a heavy duty clutch but I’m not too sure what brand/model it is as it came with the car when i brought it.. at the moment I’ve got approx. 250 rwhp.. The question is what does every one think about the exedy 7056hdb (Heavy Duty Button Kit) clutch? i looked on the website and couldn’t find the rb20det engine under r32, so i rang up a local car shop and they gave me that part number.. I don’t mind if its heavy that’s cool, another question i had was would it put to much pressure on the stock rb20det gearbox? Also another part that might be worth mentioning is that I do like to take it on the track once a month or so. Besides that it’s just a Nissan skyline R32 gts-t with the rb20det and stated before has a stock manual box. Hey guys I have just installed the Apexi Safc Version 2. I have read the manual and also checked out the DIY on this forum. I checked the pre setup settings such as the Sensors checks and all is working well. I am getting the Safc tuned soon at all star garage but until then am i able to drive this car around? I don’t know if this helps or not but this is the following info on the car: R32 gtst with rb20det Vg30det Single Turbo FMIC Turbo back exhaust Stock Ecu R32 GTR fuel pump. I’m pretty sure I have done all the settings but may someone please confirm this. The settings I have gone through and completes are the Sensor Check, Sensor Type(set at Hot wire), Car select ( cly set at 6, Thr Set at Up arrow), and the voltages for the throttle are set at in = 01, out= 01 , Sens. Cal in=1, out = 1. That’s all i have done. Is this all right? And am i able to drive the car around without any problems to the ecu. Thanks all help appreciated. Hey yer I was reading a post some where on here.. and most off the guys are going to the perfomance car show.. me and a group off mates are also going Friday 6-10pm and saturday 10-5pm all day. Maybe some one organise a cruise after the show finishes ? I would definatly join... Niran

Hey man You could always go through kalamunda but just go during the day as at night it may be a bit off a dangerous spot especially the zig zags unless your familiar with the roads and know the conditions, speed is pretty slow but for a scenic drive its perfect Niran

Wow is it just me or is there a lot of skylines getting yellowed? Don’t worry man i got yellowed also because he said my exhaust was too loud and he heard it up the street, then he told me to pop the bonnet and then i got yellowed for another half a dozen reasons. It’s also an import man so you’re going to be standing out when you’re driving on the road. There’s not much you can do because if you try to speak back to a cop or even try to teach him something even when they are wrong as they have the position of authority and power on there side they will just do you for more stuff on your car. For the pits man just put a stock bov back on go over pits, pass pits then you can remove it off again or do what you please. Good luck man Niran

Hey man You could get a pod filter so it will let you hear the turbo and induction noise better Then buy a 3inch exhaust to get a nice beat and let the car have more flow Also put an intercooler in and then should be able to do a nice tune and make a pretty nice figure on the dyno. Hey Adam Thanks for all the information that you shared, that would make sense about the mesh for the intercooler.. Guess I’ll just keep the one i made for it just so i don’t have any problems or hassles later. About the number plate that is pretty bad i had mine on the driver’s side and they didn’t even notice it. That’s it about the cops i was being polite because like you said if you try to correct them and act like you know everything they will just use more things against you.. so i ended up just agreeing with him and being polite Thanks niran

Hey every one I went over pits and they said what i fixed was all good however they said that my rubber bushing's for my radius rods are gone and must be replaced.. Does anyone know where i can buy some in Perth? And approximately the price for the both left and right? Thanks guys

Hey bro Yep i am going to be getting it tuned in perth.. i just got a yellow sticker so just been busy trying to get that off.. but after that the plan is to buy some r32 gtr injectors, and then give it to all star garage and get them to install a nistune chip and then get them to tune it. hey bro, yer i changed coil packs still no good, even changed ecu's lol, it comes as the car warms up i was thinkin maybe i have a small solder crack with the joins on the air flow meter?

Hey man did you know what was wrong in the end.. i have the same problem in my r32 gtst also. ive changed my fuel pumps, and also the spark plugs. the coil packs are stock but i have checked for cracks and all.. any idea if it was the fuel filter? thanks niran

Hey every one thank you all so much for your help and your support it scares me that even the people we ask to obey the law still use to power to their pleasing. Stayed up all night last night worked on car from 11pm-8am then slept for 3 hours now I’m back at it. Reason I’m trying to get it all done so quick is because i also have an AHG day this Saturday, so at least try getting it off or trying get it extended. I agree the cop wasn’t too fair on his decisions’ and like all off you said i just got unlucky. I’ve removed the exhaust and put a stock one, I mounted the pod secure with a bracket, Intercooler piping i just secures that to some more bolts along its path and engine bay, also removed my dvd player, Only thing left is the reverse lights which im still trying to get to work.. but besides that it’s just really go to pits and hope i pass Thanks for all the help Niran
