  1. Hey i had the exact same problem I just moved it to suit... i havent noticed any problems, everything seems to work fine. good luck
  2. Urgently wanted! R32 GTR front guard - drivers side one that is UNDAMAGED If anyone has one, please let me know! Cheers! Ben
  3. dont OS Giken make a fully built and prepped 3L bottom end for the RB26 head? used for drag. im sure its not cheap though, but i think its rated to take up to 1200hp! just pop one of those in there
  4. I think the R33 kits all come with the same pipe set up. I bought an R33 kit for my R32 and the guys were telling me that all the kits were the same for their 33 range. The kits all have the same mounting brackets for the actual cooler itself. so regardless of where your bar sits, the cooler will sit in the same spot. it would be easy to modify the brackets, but then you would also have to modify the piping as well. I think that buying a pre-made kit and modifying that would be cheaper than going full custom, because all that would need modifiying would be the mounting brackets and possibly two of the pipes.
  5. Ok the shocks are now sold. But the King springs are still up if anyone wants them They will drop your R32 skyline 2inch all round. "street-spec" spring rating. They are a very nice ride, stiff enough to minimise body roll, but not so stiff you will loose your kidneys. Fit onto standard shocks. They are like new and were only in the car for a few months. Bargain $200.00
  6. thanks for that joel, i was thinking about changin it too! but i wont bother now - save some $$$
  7. standard cooler! wow! you must have a pretty efficient turbo to pull that power and run safe with a standard cooler, whatever it sounds like it works well!my dream would be to have an HKS 2530 on mine. let me know how it goes when u get that cooler fitted and the boost wound up no doubt
  8. Awesome, thats pretty impressive! Hey i noticed under your name it has 192kw at the wheels, what have you done to get that sort of power?
  9. that was on 14psi, with standard turbo. what sort of gains should i get from an RB25 turbo and SAFC to tune out the richness?
  10. Meggala; yeah i dunno what the deal iswith that i was wondering why they only went to there. when i drive it it feels like it has good power to at least 6,500rpm. btw i have that RB25 turbo on the way
  11. so if i was to get say an apexi SAFC the aim would be to get that line not to dip off to the end, but to stay reasonably flat?
  12. Hey Ive attached a copy of my dyno reading and was unsure about how to read the A/F ratio. any advice on what my car is doing would be great! thanks
  13. If you have a BOV that vents to atmo - its that. to fix it get a hybrid BOV something that vents back to AFM otherwise put the stock on back on.

    service?

platinum plugs part number is: PFR6A-11 they are NGK laser platinum plugs, i used them with 15psi and they work a treat. *note: remember to gap them to 0.8mm
  15. i did the same as you. droped my R32 about 2 inches and after about 4 weeks of driving i had blown the standard shocks. The seals split and all the damping oil came out. it was like driving a pogo stick around, and can be fairly dangerous. I replaced the standard shock absorbers with Bilsteins and they worked a treat, however be careful with how low you are going to run the car, because i found it possible to bottom them out on big hits. other than that it was a sweet ride! The shocks cost about $1300 and you can use all the bits off your standards - boots, strut tops, bumpers etc. not a very hard job at all.
  16. 12psi should be fine I have been running my stockie at 16psi for a year without trouble (touch wood). but the general consensus is over 14psi is risky. good luck!
  17. Yeah i will. Thanks mate
  18. Nope it was defenantly for HICAS everything matched up, it is an HKB sports 2 kit. there are a few little pics on the HICAS sensor angle, but its all in Japanese so i cant understand.
  19. does that mean that the HICAS is not functioning? Im pretty sure it is lined up with the boss kit though. but to do so i did have to rotate it about 20degrees... could that be the cause?
  20. so if you have standard springs you can drop it up to 40mm otherwise get some aftermarket ones if you wanna go lower.
  21. there was a really good article in HPI i think. it stated all the pros and cons of the two, i cant remember which issue unfortunately. but i do remember them saying that tube and fin was the way to go.
  22. Re; the Boostmeister piping, would that sharp bend cause any flow losses? it looks sweet hey!
  23. I find that after driving along a freeway or over 100km/h for more than 15min my orange HICAS light comes on display in the dash. is that normal? Because i have fitted an aftermarket wheel, and the boss kit for the wheel meant i had to turn the steering sensor to align with the boss kit.
