Dont touch the settings unless you are doing it on the dyno!
The SAFCII will lean it out, but it isnt 100% accurate. for example when i was tuning mine on the dyno i had a real dip in my a/f ratio at exactly 4,500rpm so i set the safc to decrease the read out at 4,500 but it actually moved the a/f ratio at around 3,500rpm. they work well but you really need to use a dyno to make sure.
its really easy to get it to lean out in a particular spot unintentionally - it did that with me on the dyno, but once i worked out the variance in rpm it was easy, but what ever you do dont do it without immediate dyno runs to check.
