  1. you can buy them from Nissan Hornsby - pretty expensive. you can also buy them from just jap for $700 they are original items too. I have a 2nd hand one for $250.00 its the original plastic. was in an accident but has been professionally repaired only needs a new coat of paint now.
  2. Hey i was after some information on what would be better for me to do to my RB20. I have a limited budget and am considering one of these two options. which will give me better power straight up without changing anything like computer and injectors. option 1: 2nd hand R33 turbo and apexi S-AFCII option 2: 2nd hand HKS 2530 Note: car already has full exaust, fmic, boost control filter etc which of these two options would give best results as is. without aftermarket computer? (obviously with more upgrades the 2530 will, but as is which would be better)
  3. I know of one guy who had his highflowed and did the exact same thing, had to take it back because they hadnt matched the wheels properly or something. ask the guys who highflowed? they would have a good idea of whether its the conpressor/exaust wheels or your wastgate actuator.
  4. I have really bad axle-tramp when i launch or whenever i wheelspin, in both wet and dry. I have changed suspension around a bit, but regardless of whether im running standard shocks or coil-overs there is always axle tramp. what is it that causes axle-tramp and whats the best way to remedy this?
  5. well if it adds 20kw im stolked, if i can get that much out of the turbo and maybe another 10kw from the SAFCII then im there. Has anyone out there cracked 200rwkw or more with the RB25 turbo on an RB20?
  6. as to the alloy ornament, RB20 silver tops, GTRs are alloy and 33's are plastic - which suck if you wanna polish the covers and BTW you can fit any rocker covers on the RB20 and 25 so if you want it to look really sexy just buy some GTR rockers, they look hot. but i guess it would suck having an engine that looks like an RB26 and performs like an RB20 haha
  7. they fit perfectly on standard 32 struts. but they are on hold for now...
  8. yeah i wasnt sure whether to do the pump and reg, was going to see what the dyno told me. as for bigger cooler, i was running 14psi with the standard cooler and when i fitted the bigger i noticed a little lag but a much bigger hit in the back, obviously it flowed alot better and the air was much more dense, so it made a difference for the better i would say.
  9. Ok well i have saved my pennies and plan to do a few mods to my 32 GTST. the parts i currently have are: large FMIC Full exaust 3 1/2" inc 3"cat (but not dump) Filter and bleed valve. with these mods i made 221bhp (170rwkw) my aim is to acheive 270bhp (200rwkw) im about to purchase: RB25 turbo and fit HKS actuator set at 13-14psi SAFCII (dyno tuned...) Dump/front pipe New wheels (for traction purposes of course ) Im hoping this will alow me to acheive 200rwkw. Is this realistic? anyone got those sorts of mods on an RB20 - if so what power have you made?
  10. they are yours HSVKLR, I sent a PM but they have not been working for me today, PM me back if you got it or PM your phone number. Ben.
  11. Ok i dont understand why you are trying to accuse me of anything BNR32. Im sorry if i have upset you by giving a different quote to you. im not trying to make any enemies here so please dont accuse me of anything. if you have a problem please PM me no need to disrespect anyone. well the quote i got was from Envy Imports who have rebuilt a few of these clutches and have one exactly the same for sale at about $1500. Their telephone number is (02) 99773533 i was told that a new set of plates would cost between $500 - $700 so i gave you the middle of that.
  12. oh ok, could it be possible that i have a boost leak or something, i do have an atmo venting BOV that causes stalling problems...
  13. Well the fronts tended to bottom out with my bilsteins (as pictured above) they will fit fine, the rears are perfect on there, i think you would have to go stiffer than this for the fronts, unless you have a shorter length shock.
  14. Hey dont be sorry! thats some usefull info MegaGTS4 thanks for taking the time, ill give it a shot and see what happens. ben.
  15. thanks guys, so its probably worth going for the SAFC II then.
  16. Hey guys i find that sometimes when at idle i notice every now and then a slight "bump". mainly when it is cold in the mornings, but somtimes randomly at the lights etc any ideas?
  17. You can buy the replacement badges for these covers from HKS, Trust, Nismo etc, but they are like $200!!! not cheap. best thing to do is pull of the ornament, rocker covers and get them powder coated! looks damn sexy, i had an R32 GTR covers done in a candy apple pearl colour, looks fantastic. ill get some pics sometime.
  18. HSVKLR: can you please let me know your situation or reply to the PM. Cheers mate!
  19. Hey sidewaymambo, i just got your PM then, ill send you some more pics and give yuo a call tomorrow, sorry but i didnt see the pm before.
  20. no they are not that expensive to replace! the clutches are made by Exedy for Nizmo and plates are available in australia $600 for the two!
  21. Can anyone tell me the difference. im about to pruchase one, and was wondering the main differences/advantages. any info would be great thanks
  22. well i gaped them by tapping the top of the bent curve without fitting anything in between just to make sure no surfaces were scratched, so there was no chance of the coating being removed. i then just used a feeler guage to check gap distance. Worked perfect, much better than the platinums. so im sure its not a problem as long as you are careful.
  23. From what i understand you are right NA_R33. ive just ordered one too, and from my research it says you can adjust your fuel curves at any RPM range. well lets hope so!
  24. Nizmo twin plate clutch with lightened fly-wheel. Rated at 500hp was in R32 GTR but began to slip after engine upgrade and power over 380rwkw. Needs new plates as they are fairly worn. Complete with fly-wheel: $900.00 Pic as is below.
  25. well if you want to carry Bikes get one of the Saris "Bones" racks, they strap on the boot, no tow-bar needed, fits over the rear spoiler and doesnt damage the car at all, uses rubber feet supports. I have run 3 heavy down hill rigs on the back and have no problams at all... better than getting all the mud and crap on my back seat They can fit up to 4 bikes and cost about $300.
