  1. thanks for the info Alex EDIT: I'm looking for an inverter model at a good price to do a small unit in Walkerville.......the area is about 20 - 25 square metres. Already done a bit of homework and found that "Good Guys" have 1.5hp split units in Mitsubishi, Panasonic & Fujitsu for approx $1000. I'm hoping 1.5 hp is enough to do such an area.......anyone have any better prices or ideas?

c'mon Craig......do you really want the boys to go shopping for you?
  5. Hey Ilia, you're new so we'll cut you some slack. Please post in the 'For Sale' section above. Welcome aboard champ. Thread Locked
  6. I concur with what Damo & Steve said. This is a thread that serves a purpose so keep the spamming crap out of it or risk an official warning......and those kind of posts will certainly be deleted.

I'll grab the 2 blanks ones off you Damo (for me & my boy)
  8. I'm not sure about the conditions of entry but clearly Cara wants Skylines only in her group but does that mean the rest of you guys can't enter unafilliated or even form your own little Nissan group.....there's probably enough of you now me thinks, or is it too late to get entries in?
  9. na guys Dave is on the money here.......key words: Homless Person The ins company will not be out of pocket and they tend to get their money from the easiest party, in this case it was Yohan. Unless they can recoup that $1000 from the homeless person (which they can't & won't even attempt to) then say goodbye to the $1000 & move on. You can't take the ins company to court as they've done nothing wrong. However, you can take the homeless person to court; 1). if you can find them & 2). if you can get more than $5 a week out of them
  10. I can't see how that wouldn't affect the 1st Home Owners Grant Damo......unless they factor it into the loan somehow.....would pay to ring them and ask how they do it
  11. lol Nathan, You're back for 2 seconds and have alienated the regular contributors on these boards already. the fact that I know you won't save you're bacon Nathan as I'm impartial.....so you have a choice, get along with the folk on here or move on you're gonna get a 20% warning which is possibly an SAU record for the length of time since joining again. as you stated below, there's a good reason this sort of thing happens.....take a deep breath and go to bed unfortunatley this thread has gone it's distance. 12. yeah Ryan, there's a little more to it but that's pretty much on the money EDIT: no one ever stays on the system for too long.....eventually there's a payout once injuries have settled and once a % of disability has been established. The Pain & Suffering component of the claim used to be a large part of the payout but not anymore....that was drastically reduced years ago. Past & partial future Loss of Income is a large part of the claim. Medical Expenses......past, present and partial future is another large part of the claim. Once the claim has been settled, insurance companies have been known to go after the drivers at fault to try & recoup some of their losses if he or she was drunk, on drugs, unlicenced....etc, etc.
  13. PM sent bud
  14. lol, Matty the Matchmaker.........just because we're a couple of bitches in trucks now you want to pair up everyone on SAU
  15. that's easy Carl..........comprehensive is property ins whereas CTP is 3rd part bodily ins
  16. no probz bud, guys like you & Tangles is what the system was designed for (I understand they are 2 totally different claims) If your claim ever comes across my desk (not just because I know you) like many other similar claims in your situation, no covert surveillance would not be necessary.
  17. Correct Lee. Speaking of Rego constantly going up for this very reason, I wonder how many people actually look up the individual costs that make up your Rego. 12 Month Rego for my bike: admin fee....................$6 emergency svce levy...$24 flaming stamp duty......$60 actual rego cost..........$32 CTP insurance.............$330.52 the last component of your rego is the one that skyrockets each year. you wonder why the vein in my neck starts to pop out when I hear about inexperienced drivers (and unlicensed ones) getting involved in accidents then putting in false claims...........I actually like my job
  18. lol Tangles, I would've expected alot more from a fellow bike rider. I agree with Roo 100% on this one. Last thing I ever need is some unlicensed twirp riding in front of me.......I'll ride straight thru them!
  19. job role has varied a fair bit over the last decade but these days I do approx 75% of my work for the Motor Accident Commission
  20. weeell, now that you mentioned it
  21. lol, we can be bitches together these days Matty
  22. spotted Chad's red Ute out the front of his work today in Somerton Park whilst around the corner getting the truck's windows tinted
  23. Continued from the "What do you ride" thread. are you serious or do you actually think you're one step ahead of authorities? need I remind you of a certain very tall building in Walkerville that records activity at every major intersection in Adelaide and can identify you by a pimple on your nose if needs be? and did I neglect to mention that I'm a CTP Investigator? one day when I grow up I wanna be as clever as Kietz.
  24. lol, GOLD......expect a visit Kietz! now where's that post about you riding in the heat a week or so ago?!
  25. CORRECT.....Andrew's a Tea Totaller though so we have to make exceptions as long as I don't receive a PM from someone who's taken offense.......keep in mind though boys, SAU is a family friendly site so I'll leave it up to your discretion
