  1. I know the '92 GTR's were severely handicapped with weight & boost restrictions, but I read somewhere (and I can't remember where) that the '91 GTR's ran approx 70psi, lol. That link you posted makes alot of reference to a private vehicle owned by a Mike fella. You could be right though....I couldn't be stuffed doing a search at the moment.
  2. Happy Birthday Lukey Boy
  3. no doubt Rhys, but it may fall on deaf ears unfortunately. If all of you that have had experiences with him had a similar outcome and feel justified in pursuing it, get together and go and see your local MP first. By following proper channels you'll have a bigger voice.
  4. maybe the 5 bar of boost helped a bit to Andrew
  5. I won't take anyone's side here but reading through some of the posts about this Neil fella, I don't recall reading anything that he has done that wouldn't be within the parameters of the law. At the end of the day, he only needs to suspect that you have a vehicle that doesn't comply with ADR's or emissions and within his power can pull you over. He doesn't have to measure anything either, to send you to Regency. Based on the little that I've read in regards to his methods (and I know he's become a nemesis to many of you), one complaint alone to his sarg (cause he's only a conny) without any substantiated evidence of ill treatment towards any of you, will end up either in their shredder or bathroom for when they run out of toilet rolls. A few harsh words from a copper may hurt your feelings but will hardly get him a reprimand, let alone off the force! 30 years ago you would've copped a boot up the ass from him as part of the deal, lol. If you drive a non compliant vehicle and they eventually catch up with you, smile and cop it on the chin cause it was good while it lasted.
  6. Kietz, as per forum rules, you need to attach a price to your gears. Forward another post and I'll delete that one.
  7. They're a great idea Ben and combined with a front tank (either atmo or plumb back), work very well. Problem is, when using them on their own and as much as the overhead tanks can catch a fair bit of oil, after only a couple laps of lalla, they still allow mist to be thrown into your FMIC. Andrew has probably the best solution with his setup, which if I remember correctly, runs both tanks plus all the internal oil mods.........Jess (sinful) also runs both tanks.
  8. 334kw at 1.1 bar and pretty safe AFR's........with -5's stock cams & internals A little more boost would've seen 350/360kw easy.
  9. Wanted: Stock injectors for GTR.....must be in good nic
  10. lol, no one wants to hear what you do with a flute Dave
  11. no, drill them out and collapse them....might even be able to turn them with a pin punch. If an easyout breaks in there, kiss your ass goodbye
  12. spotted RBR-033 on Goody Road, Daw Park tonight......nice rims & up for sale to! Anyone from here?
  13. well done Andrew....Chad, you must be stoked with 316 killa wasps
  14. haha, poor Chad, at 1st glance he looks like he's holding his girl's hand and Lex's hand at the same time........errr Chad, I had no idea you were that way inclined?! Oh well, she may not be smiling but at least both boys have big cheesy grins on their faces.........Lex is even looking around to make sure nobody's looking!
  15. haha next time you're in Adelaide we'll have to catch up, last time was too short of a notice unfortunately Jess..........and I'll bring my stick!
  16. and tastefully is the key word......there's no rice about that car, just tuff as
  17. oooooh yeah, sold to the kid with the ice cream cone.........I'd be down for that Flick, let us know when you come up with a date (if you haven't already) and I'll edit your 1st post for you with the details
  18. that last 32 GTR is absolutely beautiful.......me want one now
  19. ahhh, the good ole stoves have come home strong in the last few posts I was questioning my tastes there for a minute
  20. far out, if all you guys are going as well, I'll have to pull my finger out & get down there
  21. lol, I think we're out numbered Luke
  22. correct, unless you've had it engineered and passed all emissions tests..........and this applies to all of Aussie
  23. yeah, I would never compare an import's handling to one of those boats.........there is no comparison!
  24. you make a good point about handling Tim, only problem is, most imports are way too stiff in the suspension department and the slightest ripple in a fast bend can get messy, not to mention hard straight line braking over an undulating surface is useless if your wheels are not making full contact with the black stuff. Pity they don't spend more on the roads to improve them with all the money Regency is making these days.
  25. original stoves FTMW..............OK, flame away, I've got my fire suit on!
