I used to have a 1976 silver 260Z 2+2 and this thing just reminded me of it. I removed every panel and dipped it into Adelaide Engine's bath to strip it back to bare metal then sprayed the whole thing in Porsche Guards Red.........I'll try and dig up a pic sometime.

Dale, Mitch hasn't done anything that could warrant those 4 words.........someone else did but that was edited immediately. However Mitch, as Dale rightly pointed out, discussing it with us in here won't necessarily endear you to them........probably best to sit down with Dave Keen (one on one) and discuss their liability in all of this.

I highly doubt that such a statistic would be available Steve, but never the less, as I always say and as 'racin jason' has also stated in his formal letter, if a race track saves just one life, then it was all worth it.......just ask the parent's of that teenager that lives to see his own children.

Daniel, I've edited part of your post. We're going from discussing a specific issue relating to Mitch's car to the way they do their work. Be warned, if this becomes a slagging match at Turbo Tune for any reason other than the way they handled Mitch's situation (ie. poor workmanship & customer practises) then warnings/bans will be dealt out!

who says.......Dave & Mike??? What if they only had your engine on their premises and it was stolen.......you can't comprehensivley insure an engine! Speak to consumer affairs......your car was secured on private property, not driven on the road.

Yeah I know....did you see that cop following me and checking out the angle of the trailer (rear of the trailer 1" off the ground while the draw bar was 1 metre off the ground).......just didn't look right, lol

Awesome effort by the boys..........that's Port 2 Premiers 0 for this year!! LOL it was our turn to win this week anyway, so regardless who we play next week, it's our turn to lose again.........haven't won 2 in a row all year!!!!!!!!! Watching the replay on FOX now.

Chris, I'm guessing you went through Sturt police who are now at Lonsdale as that's the only Police inspection station that can do ID checks (VIN & Eng) other than Regency. Having said that, I've been through there when they were stationed at Sturt Road and got through with pods OK......if they're secured correctly, there shouldn't be an issue.
