  1. kid was probly helping himself out there too...
  2. its not all about performance or attracting tits. fact is, most of us bought an NA because: A. we didnt wanna get raped by the popo B. in some cases, living with parents is a limiting factor (ie mothering) C. turbo vs non turbo look no different, and to be different, chose a non-turbo skyline over the ever rampant commodore D. they look good stock, as opposed to the real boats which are commodores
  3. i think late models may be different yeah...
  4. NA represent! iv been to the turbo side...didnt like it much. when it eventually died i slapped my NA stuff back on and now its better than ever xD the amount of times i get complimented on it...well iv lost count. and had the servo story more than once too but hey, these things are still quick, and youv gotta remember too, that no matter, turbo, or non turbo, its still gonna shit all over any commodore worked or unworked, in the twisties, thats a proven fact, on many occasions. (thats with stock suspension ) if you take good care of it, itl be quick and reliable. more reliable than most cars on the road today
  5. yeah, im just looking at the OEM replacement on JJR. car is just for daily use so i dont need anything fancy. theoretically it should be perfect replacement
  6. in the market for a new clutch + thrust bearing. just not sure what type of thrust bearing i need tho. its to suit an RB25 gearbox, not sure what model, but its on a R33 S1. anyone got any ideas?
  7. provided they have access to the front of your car to get measurements etc, it shouldnt be that much of a prob. hopefully they can conjure something up tho!
  8. iridium plugs are a waste of money in my exp...lasted about a month on my DE+t efore they were missing all over the place, with appropiate gapping. am using stock standard NGKs now (forget what the part number is) they work a treat, and dont cost a small fortune either (like $16 for a set, with trade discount ) theres also a 290kw R32 with a worked RB25 flying round town that is also proof of this fact, same plugs as i have, and i have a third of the power ^_^
  9. got to the stage where im keen for a set of extractors. after reading the thread about the DKNEs, they seem to be alright, but are a fair bit more pricey as opposed to the cobys. not sure if theres any gain in spending the extra cash on the DKNEs. noticed also that the DKNEs dont have the harsh drop off that the cobys do. which is better for scavenging? im willing to spend the money, just dont know which direction to go. anyone else who has installed extractors of either brand, or even another brand if there is any, let us know in this thread. looking to squeeze as much power out of my 25 as i can without going the turbo route again (been there, done that, very expensive)
  10. toshi on these forums has an ECU that he tuned for my car shortly before i blew my turbo. didnt end up getting it, but its still up for grabs. tuned for a highcomp motor running stock RB25 turbo, bosch 040, R34 GTT SMIC (a good alternative to a FMIC), GTST injectors. if theres anything you think you might need check this thread out: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...as-t278847.html
  11. had another idea of just painting the bottom part of the front bar in a matte/satin black. to give i guess a "false lip" advantages are that its quick and easy to just mask it off and spray, doesnt make the front any lower than it already was and if it gets scratched its easily fixed (just spray over it again, no need to colour matching!) only disadvantage would obviously be once youv done it theres no turning back. there is a white R33 getting around town here, same M-Spec bar, but has the middle part of it painted black (the part the sits infront of the radiator) looks quite neat, but dont think it would sit well on a grey car...
  12. - standard GTST airbox w/ snorkel - SOLD price drop on the SMICs; R33 now $50, R34GTT $80 also on the turbo ECU, now $100
  13. have got airbox and the crossover intake pipe...will SMS you if you dont post back here within 5days
  14. have got both parts you need....dunno how i can go about posting them to the USA tho
  15. im after a short shift kit for my car! ED: also after a 2.5" highflow cat to suit a standard GTST exhaust (with flanges) open to offers
