  1. keen on the pod box. post a pic or two up of it. and what type of teins are they? adjustable or fully adjustable. how much you looking for them...
  2. keen on the drivers side door for my mate. whereabouts are you located? might be a road trip on the cards to pick it up. PM me if need be. but yeah put it on hold for us Josh
  3. and how much power did it make? what pistons has it got
  4. hey corey got any other pics of your car? i think its the tuffest NA iv seen. loving the offset of those wheels
  5. i got pulled over last night in my housemates R32 GTST. me being on Red Ps (VIC), it was all against me; - didnt have my license on me (honest mistake, didnt plan on going out again) - too many passengers between 16-21 (4 to be exact, limit is 1) - driving a overpowered car - displaying wrong Ps (greens) - bald rear tires - atmo BOV (dualport megasonic ) - FMIC+pod but i was polite to the cop, was honest when he asked me what i was doing and why i didnt have my license on me, i was just taxing my housemates between parties. and it also helped that my passengers, although intoxicated, were polite to him. so after that huge list against me, all i got was a $50 fine for not having my license on me. if my mates car hadnt been parked behind mine i wouldve taken mine. that said, i did drive a turbo car for 5 months and didnt get pulled over, mainly for the reason i have been pulled over i think 3 times since i got my license last year; have kept my car clean, havnt driven like a dick, and dont cut laps every single night. its all about having a little thing called common sense, and manners
  6. hey maTE what front lip is that?

keep seeing a grey R32 GTSt around warrnambool, has what looks to be an R34 GTR wing on it and a kit. gave you a quick squirt in my mates black GTST. doesnt sound too healthy tho
  9. have you tried whacking you cat really hard with your fist or something blunt? (sounds really bad aha) let us know if you can hear rattles when you do and have you noticed your exhaust sounding any different after this incident? +1 for youtube vid of this motor
  10. what about an enclosed box for your pod? isnt that legal? (because its within a shroud) obviously different states are going to be different. the issue youl have is that the intercooler piping will most likely interfere with the mounts/box construction if you use an NA box. thats the main diff between NA and turbo boxes, in R33s atleast. id imagine R34s would be the same deal
  11. for a daily i think itd be best to keep the stock pulley arrangement. nothing worse than having a flat battery every second morning cos the alternator isnt charging as much as it could. plus youd get no real benefit unless you hit the rev limiter every time you do the groceries
  12. ahh yeah. is there anywhere i can test to see it still works? like does it just run off a standard 12V line or...
  13. 1.5's have the series 2 motor, so a little bit more power. and an S2 interior
  14. ever since iv had my car (18months now i think ) the thermo fan on front of the radiator, i dont think its ever turned on. im guessing its linked to the A/C? how much are new ones...and is it worth getting a second hand one or am i better off buying a brand new one. im wanting to retrofit one from a VX SS commodore, cos i know they move alot of air
  15. REVISED PRICING Have got my turbo gear up for sale. converted back to NA due to compressor bearings failing and not having the funds to get it rebuilt/the time. most of this gear (well all of it, cos thats why i bought it ) would be suitable for anyone looking to convert their NA to turbo. - standard side mount intercooler piping not all parts are here, only some - $40 $30 - standard R33 GTST crossover pipe. sanded down and sprayed in engine enamel black, comes with vacuum line bracket - $50 $30 - standard RB25DET heatshielding (for manifold and turbo housing, painted in engine enamel black) - $10 - standard R33 GTST side mount intercooler (flushed clean) - $40 - standard R34 GTT side mount intercooler (flushed clean) - SOLD PENDING PAYMENT - standard R33 GTST ECU (manual) - $150 $100 - Calibre 52mm boost guage w/ cup - numbers etc light up blue, needle orangy/red, dims with your lights. includes plug and wiring for power - $30 as well as this gear, there is also an ECU up for grabs. was chipped and maped by Toshi to suit an RB25 with hi-comp (ie NA motor), a bosch 040 fuel pump, standard turbo, injectors, intercooler, for 7PSI. never got the ECU as the day i put the order in my turbo died, so its still with Toshi. PM him for details/price here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Toshi-m1094.html prices do not include postage, but for most of them, shouldnt be too much post your interest here or just PM me if your interested. Josh
  16. easy way to tell - is your ignitor located on top of your coilpack cover?
  17. just noticed your car is a 95. sure its not a series 1.5? if it is then your pretty lucky
  18. yeah you had pretty good control in that skidpan, especially for an auto. looking real clean though, i dont see many 4drs that look nice but this is certainly an exception. thought about getting some nicer wheels? good to keep the family tradition going

shiny rims will get their attention. they love the chrome and the orange probly works in his favour... every time i take my car down our main street i still get looks, a year and a half later.
  20. does it change at all when you rev it or put it under load? i have a hissing sound coming from mine. happend when i put the turbo on and since after taking it off is still there. not sure what it is but theories are the injector O rings (one of them) might have a crack or something, or possibly the gasket for the intake plenum. as for the grinding noise, what part of the motor is it coming from?
