  1. oooh look at me!!! rezz, just because you live in japan doesn't mean you hot poo poo... lets get some facts straight first: 1. whats a "naysayer" 2. im a proud australian who has relocated to the US for 18 months, who has been an active sau member for quite some time. i've only been a "dude who's been in the states" for 2 months who has only bothered to post because i see soo many of them here compared to when i was in Oz and wanted a simple discussion. 3. the first time i ever really 'took notice' of the g35 was when i sat in one back in jan 2003 when doing TAS03. below is a picture i took of a mate i was with at the nissan gallery in Ginza. looks, here i am taking a photo of my friend IN a G35....*gasp* and here's another: and heres another, though not very relevant: wow, they even have nissan car models! here we are all squeezed into a nissan micro car! 4. what is bovine poo poo? 5. stop thinking you're hot poo poo because you live in Japan. 6. this is a thread about the g35 why are you going off topic and talking about yourself? regards, franky (some dude in the US who apparently doesn't take notice of rezz in japan who knows everything about japanese cars and japanese fads and everything about japanese car cultures that no aussie, let alone some US dude, knows anything about or is 5 years behind who is nowhere near up to date with rezz and his japanese car culture )
  2. yeah im a big fan of these things. like dino said they are everywhere in the US, and when you see a coupe on the road i get excited. it has such a presence... hrm, is that an intercooler in that front bar? yum! must admit, they look pretty ordinary until you put some wheels on it and a kit (or a set of t!ts), but then they look farking incredible. like the ER34... nice a55! the car looks good too! yeah...im a fan.
  3. The Hummer H1 is too milatary! the H2 is civilian and its soo tuff The H3 is even more civilian and less thirsty! my friend was telling me that he saw a H2 on the freeway (whilst it was at a standstill) and the owner was filling it up with petrol with a jerry can hahahaha... i see them all the time, no pics as yet, but i'll try and take my camera out more often now. not many nice rides in Charleston, SC when i get up to NY it might be different, but there are plenty of trucks down here. also saw a turbo Z. front number plates are not necessary here. never driven one, but going from the Z, they go well!
  4. yeah im having some terrible trouble with my card reader at the moment so pulling pics is a problem for the time being. plenty of time to sort it out though! yeah thats right, but we all still know its a nissaaahhn like acura and honda....
  5. i've moved over to the US now and the next best thing on the roads over here to the Hummer H2 has got to be the G35 Skyline. it is farken sex on wheels.......nissan australia, you suck!!!!!!!!!!
  6. who wants to change apex seals all the time i voted for the EVO. give me torque anyday has to be a tommi makinen though....
  7. ...i'm pretty certain the guy who owns that car is not $250k out of pocket. there would be alot of sponsorship money in that car, plus take into account all the endorsement money he can now ask for by owning that car? as for the "honda haters" on this thread, there is alot more to being fast than having a big dyno figure - hahaha...
  8. duncan if you had less understeer you would've missed him!!! nice effort on the first corner btw those lanos's move dont they!
  9. hahaha! check an older video out of mine which demonstrates this to the letter! lots of under under cause the suspension settings were still being tweaked and there is also some action of a certain wine red r33 attempting some drifting by dr carlo..... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...&cat=500&page=1 make it happen duncan!!!
  10. hahah, oh yeah i definately miss it and the fact there are soo many good buy R32 GTR's these days is making it worse! take ya pick!!! when i get back from my relocation i'll get stuck back into it! damn it. yeah, i need more track time i need more "duncan tuition time" hahaha. you've gotta show a few of these people what an R32 GTR can do around wakefield. alot of them seem to believe the KING is only good for 10's and 12's around that track!!! there was a purple r32 gtr doing 6's and 7's around wakefield that i know of. theres gotta be more doing similar times.
  11. hahaha....sorry for the post whoring all, i just like hassling shonen
  12. hey duncan! i missed the horse shoe because i thought the STi behind me was going up the inside (he really did fill the rear view mirror going into that corner) i was giving him the inside line, then i just said stuff it and pulled the nose back in that STi is a stroked 2.2litre. very animal! no idea of the time, you could probably time it off the video though it might come close to your freaking fast times!!!
  13. oh thats right, you're doing the candy apple red thing for autosalon right? kekeke
  14. hehehe. ok. but just remember, if its not black, im not buying it when i get back and you know what they say about the black......you never go back.
  15. oh wakefield park. soo many memories.......... take a ride with me: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...&cat=500&page=1
  16. carlo dude, i dont think you're being "close minded" i just think, as you have admitted yourself, you're being unappreciative of a different car culture - not that there is anything wrong with that (its okay Shonen, i'm sure Carlo thinks your meguirs red isn't ricey....) however, comparing Autosalon to TAS is like comparing apples to oranges and i do think this is a little....ummm how do i put it ........ wrong??? of course you are going to like TAS because you're into performance cars and thats what TAS is mostly about - but, at the end of the day TAS is just a glittered up and glorified aftermarket car parts bizarre for manufacturers like HKS, Apexi, Jun, etc etc under 9 big roofs!!! ie. i dont see the difference between reading an Option magazine and walking through 9 halls of stationery cars apart from the fact the cars are alot cleaner and there a shitload more race queens!!! in any case, i dont quite agree with what you say about autosalon - i do believe the autosalon cars ARE bleeding edge for what THEY WANT to achieve (and this definately extends to more than a pretty paint job) and its certainly the same case for the cars at TAS, where the manufacturers cars are definately bleeding edge in what THEY want to achieve (read: promote). i mean, fark. a carbon fibre bodied Evoluion 8 Lancer from HKS....drool!!! i might not buy the body kit, but fark, i'll buy a turbo off them!
  17. hiya, the first shot with the harbour bridge was at blues point. the 2nd one of anzac bridge was on Chapman Rd, opposite Bicentennial Park hrm unsure of the suburb but its just off the City West link where is meets Victoria Rd. About 5 mins from Stratty no lights, just the lights of the bridge and long exposure. Wogboy: i've been told they are nismo uprights with the stock rear wing... Shonen: hehehe .... okay autosalon candy apple red boy
  18. my old car hehe, ok. im biased! stock front bar and east bear front lip (looks hot, but the that ride height DOES NOT work in sydney!) some others: evo 8's dont need much do they! some would say rice, i would say nice mazspeeds rx8 - yibbada yibbada! soarer - yeah, pimpin.
  19. dude, all the best with the sale! it'll be a sad day when it goes - heaps of memories ay!!! guys, this is truly is a great example of a Series 3 GTR! all original, you wont find alot better in the country.......
  20. adam, was great to catch up with you again too, and the rest of you guys/gals! as for the car situation...man, i dunno. i've got my eyes set on a couple of other things unfortunately! but we'll see how it goes - trust me, its not easy not having a performance car!!! shonen, eating is cheating! we had a few beers in quick succession and no food in the stomach plus a quenching thirst didnt help it from going straight to the head
  21. hehehehehe. me 2nd! w00t w00t great night, thanks all who attended! how good is the chiller gorilla magilla!?!?!
