this might sound like a stupid question but how do i find out if it is a 2540? will it say it on the turbo anywhere? is anyone going to whoop ass wednesday tonight?

so do you think it is just a case of upping the boost and retune?

yeh its a rb25det mods are as follows rb25det block acid washed, bored 0.5mm, torque plate honed crank polished and deburred GTR rods shot piened, resized and fitted with arp rod bolts all balanced with new flywheel and clutch arias forged pistons and rings acl race series crank bearings adjustable exhaust cam pulley hks gt2540 walbro 400hp fuel pump 550cc injectors apexi power fc tuned by xspeed hks evc waste gate controller spitfire coils new ngk plugs k&n pod filter z32 afm aluminium fmic 3.5inch jap exhaust with apexi muffler

tru. what kind of psi would it be safe to run then? it got forged inernals but im worried bout hurting the turbo, i wanna get more bout without upping the boost too much

hey all i just had my r32 dynoed at hyperdrive, when i bought it i was told it had about 299rwhp with a miss, i wasnt sure so i took it to hyperdrive this mourning with spitfire coils and only pulled 265.9rwhp at 14psi, the boost was all over the place, the guy at hyperdrive told me the hks 2540 wont really do anybetter than that so anyway im gonna get a new turbo, any suggestions where to take it or what turbo to get?? cheers

haha, i havent heard of this one yet, im an apretice mechaninc and the ve has had heeps of recalss, half of them have dodgy window washer bottles that leek, water leeks throught the floor on rainy days, ecu, bcm need reprograming/ recalibrating all sorts of utha shit too

yeh i went to dan murphys the other night on wanneroo road, was the biggest and cheepest bottle shop i have been to but when i got to the counter the woudnt sell me the drinks coz i had my little sister with me :S

theres a rubber stabilizer where the diff mounts to the body if that is perished it will probally be cause the diff to bounce a round, so is it everytime you do a burnout it happens when u first put it on the brake?

yeh depends, do u have the stock suspension? if not you should change so some stiffer IRS stabilizers? drift pinaples, i had the same problem with my ss so i changed to some pedders IRS rubbers, also some stiffer suspension will help, if you already have this maybe it is just a case off letting the clutch go at a diffrent rpm range

yeh was good, what happened with the first stop at armadale? i got the got out of the car and was told it was wrong place so we drove off and ended up at the next stop, i brang a girl with me for the first time on a cruise n she was too buzy talkin to her friends on the fone and wasnt reading the map

hey all who went down n howd u go? i left pretty early but managed i 13.727 @ 102mph, with it being the first time ive run the skyline there it took me a bit to get my 60ft down as i had traction troubles in first and second, i managed to get a 2.1sex 60ft time in the end tho, how did use go?
