it's actually more like 100. 110 is only when hot day and driving up hill on the freeway, it then goes back down very quick to 90 when i come off the freeway

mine hits 110 on hot days but only when i'm on the freeway going to work, which is 110kms for 40mins straight. Whcih i reckon is normal. Otherwise it's usuall round the 90 mark

Locator rings are actually a very good thing as they locate the wheel onto the centre of the hub, stoping shaking etc. and they aren't 3mm or anything like that, infact they don't sit out any further than the inside bore of the wheel itself. All hi quality wheels come with metal locators on them. The spacer i'm getting made up are hubcentric. Thus the spacer centres on the hub perfectly and then bolts on. the wheel then locators on the centere of the spacer hub using the biult in locators ring. and woot no more shaking.

so with this in mind a 19 x 8 inch rim with an offset of +20 and 235 35 19 should fit eay on a 34 4 door, seeing 18 x 9 +20 offset 34GTR wheels fit pretty easy.

spacers are the problem, getting some 15mm hubcentric bolt ons custom made. Should solve my problem i reckon.

woot, congrats on getting it on the road and letting the mods begin! Whats the sound like on the induction. I'm still running th stock box as i don't know what i really want to do with the car. Was the surround hard to fit. Can't wait to see it in the flesh

hmm i 've never heard of getting them balanced on the car before. Yes i know about the spacers, but alas they were required.

the car is also lowered around 3 inches but this was happening before the lowering. I don't think it is the wheel nutz as this happened from the word go. As in i got the car back from the shop on saturday afternoon (lowered with the wheels refitted, and drove out to mallala on the sunday and it was doing it. So the wheels would of still been very tight then. Wheel nuts do come loose with spacers but this is usually when it is a 10mm spacer type thing. It is not overly common on a 2mm spacer Thanks for your input though much appriciated

Hey people I recently got a set of 19 x 8 inch rims on my R34. Now the tyres are 235/35/19 all round, and have an offset of +35 which is the same as stock. The wheels were balanced etc, but when they were put on it was discovered that a 2mm spacer was required for clearence of the front brakes due to the shape of the spokes and big ass R34 front brakes. I also put them on the rear just so all was even. I have now found that at speeds over 100kmph a get a shake in the wheel, sometimes it is only slight, other times it is pretty violent. Do you think that becasue the wheels/tyres were balance for the +35 offset, that with the spacer bringing it down to +33 the balance is out of wack and is causing the shakes. Should i get them rebalanced and get the tyre place to attach the spacer to the machine when they balance them? As a side note, i have not had a wheel alignment since i have had the new wheels put on, could this be causing the problem? Any advice would be great.

Hey mate still interested, any pics of the underside of the muffler, also a pic of it on the car. The one you sent doesn't really show it. Also clearer pics of where it has been modified eg the welding on the brown section of the pipe. It is Stainless steel yeah?
