  1. OK does anyone know who stocks R33 boss kits and is open on saturdays. Is this wheelspin place still going? cheers
  2. hmm, i made 261hp at 10psi with stock turbo... you have safc/pfc ?
  3. if you're just looking for 200rwkw... i have the mods in my sig and made 195rwkw (i was looking for 200 as well) safc was my lastest mod and it made a significant difference above 4000rpm i would def say do the front/dump and hiflow cat as soon as you can though, your stock front/dump and cat are holding you back
  4. awesome thread!
  5. nah it was piece of piss! the back seat just lifted out. didn't realise it was such an easy task to adjust damper, i thought i'd be more work. made my rears softer and the ride is much nicer.
  6. Is this the one? i've read you turn it full clockwise for stiff and then wind it back from there (16 clicks counter clockwise is full soft) can anyone confirm/deny?
  7. lol wtf? you guys having a party and too cheap to hire a smoke machine or something?
  8. let me know what you make mate!
  9. Looks good Rhys! Couldn't keep away from the skylines for too long this is my beastie...
  10. shit i posted in the wrong thread... lols
  11. Cheapo pod filter enclosed in cold airbox R34 GT-T SMIC 3" X-Force front/dump, X-Force hi flow cat, Trial cat-back exhaust Turbotech MBC @ 10psi Apexi S-AFC Stock turbo, ecu, fuel pump 261.6hp
  12. well i got my car dyno tuned today with the newly installed SAFC (only version 1) 261.6hp (195kw) @ 10psi I didn't get a 'before' graph sorry guys but the difference is extremely noticeable once you get above 4000rpm. it just screams all the way to redline whereas without the SAFC it felt very hesitant above 5000rpm. I'm happy with the result. My mods are: Cheapo pod filter enclosed in cold airbox R34 GT-T SMIC 3" X-Force front/dump, X-Force hi flow cat, Trial cat-back exhaust Turbotech MBC @ 10psi Apexi S-AFC Stock turbo, ecu, fuel pump here is the graph...
  13. you are considering an R32 GTR but you think the R34 GTR is too dated??
  14. sure, will do, i'll try the scan of the dyno sheets as well.
  15. I bought a s1 r33 with 127000kays on the clock and I suspected the timing belt had never been changed, so i did it + water pump just to be on the safe side. however now i'm regretting not doing the idler/tensioner pulleys at the same time... apparently if they go it's just as bad! ??
  16. i'm in exactly the same boat! I have an R33 s1 with R34 smic, pod filter enclosed, 3" turboback exhaust, turbotech MBC set to 10psi, and i'm very happy with all the mods except there's a distinct flat spot above 5000rpm when I nail it. Haven't had it dyno'd. I successfully installed my safc a couple of days ago and i'm patiently waiting until next tuesday for a full tune cause that's the soonest my tuner could book me in! Looking forward to the results!
  17. interested if payment falls through
  18. Hey guys Recently bought a skyline with tein super street coilovers in it.. I want to raise the ride height slightly (front wheels ocassionally scrape the guard) and maybe change the stiffness. I've got no experience with adjusting coilovers so is this relatively easy to do? if so can someone point me to a guide or explain in basic terms what I need to do? cheers
  19. lol you said it man.
  20. hey paul I was actually planning a boost increase (bought a turbotech MBC) down the track however I decided to put that off until I can afford a new fuel pump to go with it, in case my 16 yr old stock one isn't up to the task once i up the boost. I was going to do the tune at that point all in one hit but now that I have delayed that I'm wondering if it's worth just getting the tune while on stock boost. From what you say it definitely is. not 100% sure about my o2 sensor but i think it was replaced 6 months ago.
  21. hey guys I've had my R33 GTS-T for a couple of weeks now, mods are turbo back exhaust, pod filter, cold airbox coming soon & R34 gtt SMIC. The car came with an SAFC but it's not currently hooked up as the previous owner said it wasn't running properly with it connected. It's currently using around 13L/100km's fuel, i don't know how normal that is but I assume it's running rich cause there's the popping of unburnt fuel out the zorst whenever you take it over 3-4k rpm and then change gears. so my question: performance & fuel wise is it worth forking out the $150 or so to get it tuned at a workshop with the SAFC? how much difference does it make to performance when you lean out the AFR's? and yeah i'm aware you don't buy a skyline because of fuel efficiency, i'm just wondering what difference it would make cheers
  22. Could someone run mine? my VIN is ECR33006841 thanks
  23. wow, my R33 does *exactly* the same thing. I have NFI what it is though....
  24. I had a full wheel alignment done recently when getting new tyres fitted and i was given a measurement printout which shoes my front caster is out. It says: Left +6 08' Right +7 06' And basically the guys said it's gonna pull to the left so I should get some aftermarket caster rods fitted. My question is do I need to get new caster rods or can I just fit new caster bushes and that will fix my problem? I found some a whiteline caster kit for cheap but it looks like it's just bushes, so i don't know if that will do the trick or not. cheers
