  1. mines been done for 3 1/2 years and no probs the same as many others in the uk, running 395ath ,the only probs i.ve heard about is when they already have engine faults,comp and injectors mainly,i take my plugs out every 3000 miles when i change the oil and they have always been spot on
  2. i'll look out for the report good luck,might be tempted to up my boost if this works out ok,but at the moment i'm messing with my lads s13,i was playing with the gizzmo on mine and accidently put in on the wrong setting and it boosted to 25psi + before i shut down luckily it survived in tact
  3. any news on the 18psi,is it still going with standard hg,its been well over 6 weeks and have got a fresh dyno,thanks john
  4. are you doing the headgasket before you up the boost anymore,my tuner was concerned about taking it higher because of the standard gasket

  7. this is what i've done over 4 years http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=142304 and with buying the car completely standard for £1905 and the mods have cost about £4000 with mapping
  8. just made the wastegate bigger and fitted a collins 12 psi adjustable actuator,my tuner was just concerned about the hg blowing,what is mulaa

  11. viscous lsd was an option,there should be a sticker on the diff casing,but on the type s it came standard fitment
  12. my hiflo stocker arrived i'm going to alter the wastegate and actuator abit before i fit it

  14. very true ,but i do look at gtst's dyno'd on the same one as mine,the one i have talked to at .85 bar only get around 280bhp ish ath. i've set my goal at 345+ same as tiger white, i don't know if i should get a topmount or a hybrid turbo my tuner said he can get more more power with a bigger wastegate because its creating heat what do you think, oh and he loves driving my car because theres no turbo lag and it'll outdo a gtst with more bhp,not top speed of course as i still have the 4.3 diff in

  16. this one was done in winter but it was in a heated workshop,hub dyno's are more accurate than a wheel dyno ,and don't forget tiger white still as 10whp more than me but i don't know if theres much temp difference from aus to nz,anyway i still have a few bits to do so i might crack his record out of an rb25de+t
  17. got a remap today,extra mods are 62 degree thermostat,meth/water injection and upped the boost to 12.3 psi
  18. you can regrind your cams to get more lift but duration is not so easy becareful revving it to 7500rpm the hydraulic tappets don't like it
  19. i've put 345mm merc discs on mine and stuck with 4 stud hubs with gtst calipers spaced out,they do seem aggressive for normal driving with no abs
  20. 3 years 315rwhp no probs and going higher when i get the time
  21. i have gtst calipers not gtr,and i took 1mm of each side not 2mm off one side
  22. it will reach temp quicker,but it also cools quicker,and mine are gtst calipers standard 30mm rotor but i didn't try to fit 32mm rotors in they may warp easier but discs only warp in extreme circumstances,and the serviceable limit is set by the calipers so the pistons don't pop out if the pads go to the metal
  23. it saves weight ,and will cool faster and the wall thickness is still as much as the gtst ones,just thought it might be an option but if its already been done it doesn't really matter ,thanks anyway
