  2. Hey mate, I have mine for sale. Its a 94, so series 1, and it was a freaky ecu that had always good afrs on dyno. It helped make 163rwkws @ 8psi and 183rwks @ 11psi. PM me if you are interested.

  4. Matt i worked out that exact top speed in 5th by measuring speed at 1,000rpm, 1,500, 2000, 2,500, 3,000. Then i worked out what the intervals were and got a top speed of 270 @ 7,000RPM.

  7. Those speed cut things are wierd. They dont all cut in at 180. Put ur car on a dyno to check its accuracy.
  8. The clear cover is only there to look pretty, not to adjust timing. Adjusting the degree of timing on cam gears, is a precision intensive change, so i wouldnt want anythin in the way when doin it.
  9. Haha the thing is Benm, u cant compare dynos, just how u have experience with some readin 203 for u then others at 180... I dont see how people can still think they are compareable. Anyway, ill just use my digi multimeter and see what happens on a dyno run.

  14. Also, how come whatisname commented that our dynos were very similar in curve, then he mentioned that he was maxing out afm. Thats what has gotten me confused. Another thing, Last night while driving (9ish), the car felt good, but when i was drivin another hour or so later (11.30), it felt awesome, like heaps more pulling power. Could this be what you guys state at maxin out afm, or would i feel it in a jerk of some sort. Or it could of been cos the colder air..
  15. Gts-t Vspec, I will be gettin a figure from tilbrooks when the boost is upped and cam gear is dialled in. But until then, u will have to wait. Of course I would like a dyno read out in shootout mode, cos i know on this particular dyno, it is one of the lowest reading in SA. So obvioulsy i want a higher reading So i can compare to u.
  16. yes it is to protect anythin big gettin thru ur airfilter that could damage the afm. But aslong as u have a good airfilter, u should b aiight. Ive done this mod aswell, not sure if it did much.

  22. Dynos cant be compared, even if it shootout mode. Speed limiter is now removed via unichip. Will post more later
