Hey guys. Well i think its time we had a big cruise to start off the new year. Im thinking we have a sunday arvo cruise (reason being i have the day off work) cos we hardly have any. Now heres the catch. I would like to know everyones interests b4 i go out and plan a route, but i gaurentee it will be a nice cruise with good roads etc etc. m Also i will provide guides etc. So should be a really good day. Yeh rob they are nice cars. Ive driven my mates old one. Goes well. The only thing against it is its weight. They are pretty heavy. Im in the same ball park as u with the exhaust. My car is so daim loud and im gettin the wrong sort of attention from it. Anyway im trying to find a place that can quiet it down without changin its tone, cos the car sounds pretty mad. I might checkout the thread on exhaust shops now.

im so ****en sunburnt. Dammit. Also there will always be a problem with safety. The majority of the crowd wer idiots that wouldnt listen to what the organisers where trying to tell them. Also i think some of the drivers on track wer idiots, and driving stupidly at certain corners (refer JMS). But all in all it was a excellent day.

Rob: No probs mate. I was wondering how u found out all this info on the 1g-gte. I have searched everywhere and basically found nothin on the engine its self or the potential it has to be modded. However in sayin that i know some basic things. Firstly the turbos are smaller then my gfs hair dryer. Secondly ive seen alot of people put these engines into older celicas and basically light cars. The engine is very smooth. Last but not least, it has a cool turbo light that indicates when they are making boost Give me a holla if u wanna talk about supras, i know a fair bit as my mate had one.
