Anyway back to you Michael, Being a fellow p plater i must also agree with everyone else - don't go through insurance - I'm with just car and i just got my premium reduced to 1500 because of "good behavior" and also because I'm on my green's now (1 year exp.) <- no speeding fines or suspensions - no claims etc... so even if it did cost 3000 to fix...in the long run you will save allot more - on the terms of the accident...sorry man but you did the deed, you have to pay for it. On the bright side, be thankful it was your mate and not some loony that would smash your head in, and also that you will probably never forget this and be allot more careful whenever you put your baby into R and hopefully when you put it into 1st-2nd-3rd-4th-5th as well. And dw - alot of other people have done worse (and stupider) things - i rolled a baddock basher on my farm with my best mate in the passg seat because i thought i was Drift King - best lesson of my life - never did any stupid shit on the road when i got my P's after that. wow 370GT - don’t know much about them - There like the business end of the skyline family, sporty – but have a posh like sophistication to them - so it can be fun and erratic - but when it needs to be it can be quite and inconspicuous. Unlike the r32, 33, 34 that demand attention all the time just with their unique presence lol (I’m still trying to get out of HSC English mode so the bullshit is running through my veins so don’t mind me I’m just venting heheh)

450 to a tank if u drive like a granny 400 if u drive normal with the odd bit of fun anywhere from 300 to 350 for boy racer style <- which means you will either loose your license within a few weeks - loose your car due to tree collision or get kicked out of the forums for giving other skyline drivers bad names i can only add my personal pref on the FTO and the Supra, i hate supras period and FTO's i wouldnt even bother having an opinion

Well thats what happend with me, i got my reds on an auto becuase we had not manuals, and when i had the money to buy a skyline i stiill had about 8 months of reds to go and i couldbt be botherd getting my p's again and i didnt want to wait (altho i think i shud have) for me to get my green's, but tips are still prety good, and if you get a shift kit they go just as hard as the manuals.... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/bu...e-f-t35129.html you should read the thread right through.....it tells you what to look for when buying a skyline....if you dont want a lemon...read this!!

im probly going to get burned for this, but why are you looking at the 4 doors? - do you like the look of them or something? back on topic tho - those are pretty resonable prices for 4 doors with that year model and those km's - if your looking for a coupe auto you wouuld be looking at around 14-16 for a GOOD one...but u can pick them up for 12ish now a days....which is bad for me becasue i have a tip 1998 coupe r34 with 80,oookms that is in fantastic condition but i wont get anywher near what i payed for it when i got it at the beging of the year. and also - are u sure u want to get auto/tip ? i have one and ther is nothing wrong with it - still loads of fun - but i would still rather a manual... thats my 2 cents - good luck! and if u have any questions about the tip coupe r34 just give us a yell!

haha regarding the fuel - please don’t put 91 in - think about it man it’s only like 5 buks difference.....i have a n/a r34 tiptronic (i know i know i hate auto's as well - i had no choice) and it goes hard as....i didn’t get sick of the tip, its responsive when it’s in tip mode and when it’s in D (which i only use when I’m eating and driving) is smooth and still just as fast. Get extractors and exhaust and you would never notice the diff. but again on the fuel! Don’t get a skyline if you’re not planning to feed her properly - even if it’s an N/A - I never fill up on anything less the 98 - so that’s v-power - vortex ultimate 98 – premium etc – “You only get out what you put in” hahaha Nutrigrain ad Good luck with the hunt! I got RBT'd the other day - i actually drove past them as they were setting up and on my way back i got pulled over and the cop said "hay mate, saw you driving past us before and you had your fog lights on - but ill let you off because its a bit damp." (At night time as well) - I’m a Green P plater driving a R34 at 11:00 on a sat night in castle hill.....that’s not too bad i recon.... As said before - it’s all up to your attitude, and I’m pretty sure the cops are used to me in castle hill. Only ever been pulled over once and that’s because the cop was curious, every other time was a RBT set up. Also with the pods - Can’t you get an engineering slip for them? - so the law says that it’s bad for the enviro and its noisy - ok - fine, take it to the RTA and have a Db test and a emissions test and get them to clear you - that will shut them up.... (Obviously I’m guessing most of you wouldn’t even past that test anyway) my car is stock as a rock so this would work for me. But seriously hasn’t anyone else heard of a Cops asking “do you have a certificate/permit etc for that?”

Umm when you try to delete a photo in your album - so I click on the photo I want to delete, and it enlarges - then I click options and then delete. It asks you to confirm the deletion - click ok - then the page refreshes and the photo is still there. Not exactly a priority bug, but just letting you know. and im sure you know that the "nsw members" tags arnt showing up again today.......just letting you know your not crazy and its happening to more them one person - unless im crazy :S Thanx Guys!

haha - true, but same deal with speed cameras - cop cars are fast and i doubt they get booked when they speed past them . But also like speed cameras, as long as we know where they are, we will either avoid them or cruise past them in a higher gear, if that helps some of you (of cause depending on where they are placed eg. hills etc) so when we go down hill we will just have to pop it into neutral.... don't know about climbing hills tho...that will be a problem....

Legends! - i only live 5 mins from there so im filling up there from now on dont care what the price is...aslong as they have Premium or Ultimate even if it is full price..... to bad its only THAT BP thats doing it.....im not supporting them because i will save 20 buks if i go and fill up there but because of the fact that they are taking money out of there own pocket to help everyone

good on them indeed! i reckon its a fantastic idea - i don't think allot of people understand that not all petrol stations are directly owned by the big companies. there like the MacDonald's franchises that are owned by family's - if we all decide to go to the family owned stations and not buy from the Cole's and woolys stations, then the coles and woolys stations will be forced to put their prices down in order to attract the majority again...and they can afford to do this so they wont hesitate.....

Anyway Hope this is useful: I'm 18 - insured with Just Car - drive a 1998 R34 25GT Skyline coupe (non turbo) and i was on my red p's when i got this quote and I'm on my greens now - no accidents no speeding fines although i did get busted for going up a one way street the wrong way (i tried the good old "but officer i was going one way - but it didn't work ) and i told 'just car' about that....the car is parked in kellyville...im the only insured driver...i can drive it whenever i want - where ever i want - park it where ever i want - although they do want to know where it will be parked at night...so obviously u cant park it in a shopping car park over night - didn't need a locked up garage - must have an immobilizer - can put whatever performance enhancing parts on the car as long as its not illegal and doesn't breach my driving restrictions ( p plate Prohibitions) - also anyone who drives the car and I'm in the car with them is coverd...so my mate could drive and I'm in the passenger seat and he would be covered (obviously he must have a license and sober duh) so with those details i pay $2,314 premium - the car is valued at $17,500 including $1500 for wheel insurance......thats the best quote i could get - nrma wouldn't touch me - shannons wouldn't touch me - GIO was like 3500........ so yea... also if i crash i have an excess of $3500 (i know...ouch!) - for a p plater thats not bad i think also it was mentioned befor - your crazy if ur driving without insurance atm!!

Car - Amazing - WoW the only thing i can give advice on is the rattles....i have a r34 gt 98 and i just went through the whole car untill all the rattles wer gone.....just spend a bit of time and if ur brave/stupid enough (not sure which one you would be if you did this to a gtr) you can pull out ur dash and speedo and all the side doors etc to find the rattles...i had to pull my drivers door apart because of a rattle...found a bolt in the bottom of it... :S good luck with the car dont touch that beautiful engine!!
