already gone through 2 brand new spigot bushs.. they slide over the input shaft. but once i tap it into the back of the crank its like they shrink so much that it cant slide in again... doing my head in..

yo just having a read threw here. about to put my 30det and 25t box together with a nismo twin plate clutch. measured up my throw out bearing carrier and mine is more like 22mm??? and im unsure if its the factory throw out bearing. it came with the clutch kit that was brought brand new from a private seller.. how do you go about getting the smaller throw out bearing carrier and such cheers tom -
hey all few questions well i got my fully built 25/30 back a few days back.. trying to get the engine and bow together before could but the whole lot into my cefiro and it just would not go, found out the internal diameter of the spigot bush was to small for the gearbox output shaft. so i removed the spigot bush all together. but im wondering if it is complete a must to run a spigot bush??? like if i can ust not use one at alll and it should still be alright? other question is iv dummy fitted my motor on its own and it fouls on the clutch master because of the forward facing plenum.. wondering how people have gone about relocating clutch master? or at least how you get around this?? its a a31 cefiro with a built rb30det and rb 25t gear box. be running around 360rwkw once run in and tuned.. cheeers in advance guys tom

RB20DET gear box out of my cefiro, selling as i have upgraded to rb25 gearbox.. never skipped a beat, never crunched any gears.. was run behind a stock rb20 motor... roughlly 90,xxx kays on it... after $650 ono mint condition r34 smic great upgrade for r32,r33 skylines. comes with brackets and ducting.. after $150 ono stock rb20 turbo. mint condition, blows no smoke. minimal shaft play. roughlly 90,xxx kays.. after $200 ono r33 3inch cat back mandrel bent exhaust, nice jun bl rear cannon.. cut in half for easy moving, exhaust shop could weld it up in a heart beat.. after $250 ono HKS T04E turbo. .60 comp cover, think .84 exhaust housing. t3 flange, suit external gate, bush bearing rated at 500hp with braided feed line and oil drain. minimal shaft play, blows zero smoke, front oil seal replaced, not been fitted since.. chassing $600ono have a complete redtop rb20det out of hr31 skyline ready to part out.. pm me or msg me for what your after.. also have a fairlly complete silver top rb20 turbo motor ready to part out, low compresion across the board, suspected rings.. pm me or msg me with anything you need.. msg me on 0423420713 anytime.. located just out of adelaide help fund my RB30DET chhheeeers tom

i think he means the backing plate behind the cam gears is hitting his bonnet. im hoping i dont need any mods to lower my motor in my cefiro haha

possibly change gear box and tail shaft angle slightlly. which could wear out tail shaft uni joints a touch quicker.... i wouldnt worry about that to much tho.. id rather have a bonnet that close's. haha

modding the factory engine mounts to lower the motor.. heard of some people doing that by up to 16mm drop

i think he means his cam covers are fouling on the bonnet?? if so have ya tried cutting out the bonnet supports under neath the fire blanket thing ha

what cam gear settings would you recomened to run using rb20det exhaust cam in r32 rb25de head?? inlet cams seem to be identical but if changing exhaust cam is as easy as swapping them over and dialling them in with adjustable cam gear then why not.. have both silvertop rb20det and r32 rb25de heads sitting next to each other..
