hi all had a huge mishap at mallala recentlly snapped a custom 1 peice tailshaft in 5 places, 23 holes threw out the trans tunnel, took out bottom side of my handbrake and all cable's, twisted the motor up and threw the radiator snapped starter motor in half.. bad times all happened on my very first lap driving my new 350rwkw+ setup im wondering what is interchangable handbrake cable wise.. is cefiro handbrake cables exact same as r32? and anyone know if r34 brake booster fits a ceffy too?? already have r33 brakes but factory booster so pedal feels dull.. cheeers in advance.. tom

na mate i had the light blue ceffy with full interior and cage.. couldnt beleive my luck.... first time driving the new setup properlly.. plans for now are track only car.. massage tran's tunnel into reasonable shape, hydro handbrake and possiblly a cheap cheap highlly worked rb26 head.. need new radiator and tailshaft and starter motor and ill be back out their.. badly badly need rear camber arm's traction was non existent.. fun while it lasted tho

bad bad bad night for me.... very first lap of using my brand new setup... grab 4th coming onto the straight, tailshaft literlly exploded and shattered my entire driveline, 22 seperate huge gash's threw the trans tunnel.. twisted the motor threw the radiator, snapped starter motor in half, launched me from the drivers seat into the steering wheel. so so not happy. was the blue 25/30 ceffy

yet to comment on that as i havent even really driven it on the street having no license but i cant f**king wait!! hopefully these coilpacks do their job

ah yep i have the halwin tuning software on my laptop so ill have a suss with the manual i suppose. unless its easy enough to let me know on here? haha pulled 356rwkw at 22psi threw a t04z.. numbers just seem low for the size of turbo and boost being used...

ah so the boost controller is normal to be clicking then?? its still regulating boost and doing its job.. any thoughts on the cam's holding up my power out put? cheers

hi all i recently picked my car up from the tuner's. its a fully built rb25/30 running a to4z at 22psi pulled 356rwkw. have a feeling my stock non turbo rb20 cam's are chocking it up majorlly.. it now has a terrible miss once warmed up and wont even hold idle. i have not even driven the car as i have no license. iv brought split fire coil packs which are on the way being sent here. has brand new genuine coil pack loom.. im hoping split firres solves it. and i ask about haltech boost controller because when i turn the ignition to the on position after a couple seconds the boost control unit in the engine bay starts constantly clicking rather loud, i was un sure if thats normal so decided id ask. cheeers to alll.. tom

so if i was to buy tomei solid lifters and some rb26 cams with maximum 9.15 lift she should be all sweeet? hoping for 272deg

is it possible that any one with superior knowledge would know straight up what else would be required with tomei solid lifter kit to fit rb26 spec cams into r32 rb25de head?? help would be great before i go spending more coin haha cars currently making 356rwkw threw a t04z with stock non turbo cams. im guessing they would be choking it up big time? ha cheeers alll tom

i just got my rb30det tuned with to4z setup and maxed out my sard 700cc injectors at 360rwkw if that helps this topic at all...

i had exactly the same issue.. used r33 clutch master and problem solvered as their around 20mm shorter

s15 throttle cable works a treat

i have the exact same clutch and flywheel combo in my rb30det cefiro running a rb25 gear box... great little combo free bump

what sensor would cause this.??? afm maybe?? iv tryed swapping over a set of coilpacks but that didnt do nothing... i cant justify going out and finding a red top rb20 afm if it isnt needed... as anyone would know parts for these donks are hard to come bye cheeers guys

it revs fine in the high rev range. only below say 4000rpm it coughs and splutters big time... blows a fair amount of black smoke..

alright sweet i have 3 spare sets of coil packs and a spare cas and spare tps.. already tried swapping over the tps but that did nothing... il try cas next.. its a nics red top.. cheers for your help guys tom

hey alll i have a red top nics rb20 in my all original hr31 that was running perfect... but now if i try to slowlly bring the revs up it farts and coughs around alot.. was thinking tps so i swapped it out and changed nothing.. when i first put the motor in the car it ran fine... now just recentlly its gone up shit creek.. any one have ideas?? is this a common thing? was thinking maybe afm? cheeers for any help tom

i brought a rb25 box conversion from a mate that he had in his laurel. he assured me their different between turbo and non turbo model's. im not sure tho. its because the small centereing circle inside the four bolt holes on the front rb25 conversion half of the tail shaft is far to small to accept the back half of my tail shaft. :S doin my head in. any one know rough prices to get a yoke changed?
