Have had 34 gtrs as dailys since march '08. They are comfortable enough for a daily, just set your coil overs to soft and keep a single plate clutch. You can get about 300hp at all 4 with just boost and exhaust, which leaves you with decent power and fuel economy. Once you upgrade turbos, injectors, computer, it starts costing more to run. I have a triple plate clutch which become a pain in the arse in traffic and have heard a twin can be a bit much too in a daily. When buying a 34 gtr, look for one that has the dear stuff allready on it, like volk rays, coil overs , turbos and computer already upgraded. Maybe import your own and save some cash.

They send you a fine if you have no credit on your go via, coz it is flo toll. If you call them and say you want to sort out what you owe and pay by visa, they may wave the fine. They did it for me a while back.

Call them and explain you have a tag and if you sort it out with a visa card they usually wipe the fine.

Make sure you pay your bill for Clem 7, I have 2 fines for $20 each, from previous uses.

With my r34 vspec 2, the front lip was 150mm stock and the rear diffuser was 140mm stock. I dropped the whole car to 100mm. I had to remove the middle muffler and replace it with straight pipe to keep clearance. Got pulled over every weekend for 6 months straight at the gold coast and never got defected for height.

do you have pfc hand controller? What type of alarm did you have? when and where did they steal it from? I sure hope you were insured.

I owned a vx R8 clubsport for a few years, it had 295rwhp. the R8's eat the cv8's in handling. my first R34 GTR vspec 2 which had 293 awhp out handled the R8 by lightyears, the R8 felt like you were in a boat, it was scary jumping in that thing after going for a drive in the GTR. In a straight line the GTR leaves the R8 for dead. My advice is to buy a GTR, it doesnt have to be a 34. 32's and 33's are reasonably priced these days, even for a good example. Just go to a Holden car yard and test drive a 2005 HSV, they shine over the CV8's (they have the same setup as an SS) and you will still be disappointed.(oh yer, my clubby broke shit all the time.) 530 in the morning on the 29 dec 2009 on the way to work in the rain heading north in the right hand lane on the M1 at Springwood. I hit a patch of water on the road doing 100kph and it sent me sideways off the road and into a 20 meter high steel light pole, I kept spinning up the bank along the guard rail until I hit one of the rail posts which sent me spinning back onto the road.I walked away with a sore side and couldnt lift my arm higher than my shoulder for a week. $57000 to fix so they wrote it off.
