buy a standard GTR boost and tune it and put in a set of comfy coilovers so it doesnt sit up like a fourby. you will get traction and be faster than anything HSV will ever produce. -

Picked the car up on Saturday and drove straight back to Brisbane.What an awesome drive! Bill has done an exceptional job setting this car up and it was great to finally meet him and the Guys at Powerplay, Joanne was a great help. Best decision I have ever made.

emailed the mob I got the bonnet from and this is what they wrote-- hi, the bonnet is made from China factory. and you shouldn't get trouble from police, because they are fibre glass base, which is more than 50% on the bonnet, and the carbon fibre is only a layer, which sit on top. you can explain to the cops that if they are full carbon fibre bonnet, then will be illegal. andrew

Help so far sounds great, will chase it up tomorrow. Hey Whitey, got done near Sea World resort. I put a Z Tune style carbon fibre bonnet on it in place of the factory c/f one, so it stands out more. If a car was built for/ with a c/f bonnet, it shouldnt matter if you change the style of it, should it?

Got defected down the Gold Coast yesterday for having a carbon fibre bonnet. R34 v spec II come out factory with a carbon fibre bonnet. It was complianced in NSW with a c/f bonnet, then road wortheyed in QLD as well. Yet I got defected. They wanted to see paperwork showing the bonnet had been complied. Is there somewhere in Qld that people know of, that have complied v spec II's. Any help will be much appreciated.

thanks for the advice, will keep lookin for a non turbo. Not many 2 door autos around for a decent price.

its not for me, my car is in my avatar. Its for a friend and she has her mind set on a skyline the problem is there isnt many decent non turbo 34's on the market. i thought it may be easier to buy a turboed one, then take it off coz you could replace it once on opens.

In Queensland is it possible to buy a turboed car and remove the turbo legally to make it P plate friendly?

I was caught making unnecessary noise and smoke from a set of traffic lights in Nerang. The infringment notice has an error on it.In the body type section, the officer wrote sedan instead of coupe. Does this make the ticket invallid, or should I just pay the fine?

dont external desktop hard drives have a power adapter which you have to plug into mains power? Have you tried a portable hard drive which only has one usb connection? need to know what works too, coz I just purchased an Alpine iDA-X100 head unit.
