  1. ^^^ Thats some guys Photoshop that he did himself using an Audi concept car base or something. The current Skyline is called V35. It's a complete generation change, so calling it R35 is incorrect. V36 is the next Skyline (in development) but magazines in Japan admit that V36 is still yet to be confirmed and that the next 2006 Skyline could be known as V35 but have an extra digit or letter eg: VH35, BV35 or something like that.
  2. Nah nah... he's talking about a POB filter guys...
  3. Nah nah... this is in US somewhere... LOL my bad... it's Australia alright...
  4. ^^^ This guys good
  5. Last ones for now... check out www.7tune.com for the rest of the pics and the write up next week Token GT-R on the day... Cheeky kid... :innocent:
  6. lol, 'Kansai' is an area name... like 'NSW'. HKS Kansai Service is actually 'Kansai Service' but they became an HKS dealer so adopted that into their name.
  7. Here it is guys! After a long wait, we finally have some more news about the upcoming 2006 V35/6 Skyline/Infiniti G35. I'll be the first to report this, as I feel that it's only apropriate that I post up something regarding a V8 Skyline... well... not a SKYLINE per se, but the North American lefthand drive Infiniti equivilent the G35. And I'm sorry to say this, but the next Skyline/G35 will be designed primarily for the North American market, which in a nutshell means THERES NO MORE 'SKYLINE'!!!! An American-style Skyline is not a Skyline in my books... Read it all here: http://www.7tune.com/skyline_001.html
  8. Laurence: PM me if you want the full hi-rezz version of you fav FD Heres another couple: FC3S convertable. Thumbs up... I'll post up a few more later.
  9. I added that pic I said I'd give you Laurence
  10. All the rest of the 200-odd pics and article will be on the www.7tune.com front page soon... ... and this one...
  11. A 4WD XR6 Turbo would probably weigh in at 2 ton... not my idea of GT-R smashing performance. In a straight line? Ok, but that car would be stupid on a circuit.
  12. Ok, ok... I've solved it. Common knowledge has it that the R34 GT-V Series 1 was available in Bayside Blue as a 'special color edition' as of January 2000. What people don't know is that the Series 1 GT-T *could also be ordered* with Bayside Blue from January 2000 but wasn't advertised as strongly as the GT-V (had to sell more 25GT's at the time hence the GT-V variant? I don't know). The Bayside blue color was also available for the Stagea... now this color is extremely rare on a Stagea. The Series 2 R34 Skylines could all be ordered with Bayside Blue, somewhat decreasing it's unique status. Your car is an ordinary R34 25GT Turbo but with a funky color...
  13. Thats wrong. The 'GT-V' non-turbo versions were made from August 2000 to May 2001. Aparently, the 'Bayside Blue' option was such a strong selling point for the GT-V model, that Nissan decided to make the color available for all the R34 models, and even the Stagea at the time. But you say your car was made in *January* 2000? Hmmm... maybe your cars has been resprayed? Whats the paint code on the built plate in the engine bay? Are there any signs that the car could've been resprayed? You could even have a model that was sold to an employee who had the special color applied as a one off (only to have it released as a stock color lol)... but thats a long shot, and not worthy of increasing the 'selling price' if you know what I mean
  14. What I don't get is that me and other Japan residents have been saying the V35 Skyline was an excellent car (as opposed to the 'naysayers' on here - just by looking at pics ffs) for years and now suddenly it takes some dude to go to the US then post up "the G35 rawks yo!" then all you guys jump on the bandwagon... Bovine poo poo.
  15. Laurence and I will be there from about 9am... Adam we'll see you there.
  16. The 'Super pineapples' are second from top... 5mm thicker than the regular pineapples, you can tell easily if you've got super pineapples as they don't have the ridge around the circumference like the regular pinapples do.

  18. If you can get to JR Ashiya station (on the JR Kobe line) by 8 o'clockish and can chip in some money for toll (I'm skint mate) I'll take you
  19. 4 hours? Ouch... It takes me an hour or so on the Chugoku expressway... the benefits of living in Hyogo I guess

    Auto Position

Looks more like a customer car?? You're right, it's probably been raced at some stage - drag or circuit. But I've never heard of Auto Position and a preliminary seach came up with nothing... it could very well be a small operation with a group of strong supporters or customers.
  22. I replaced my switch because of the exact same problem... with a genuine Nissan switch setting me back about A$150!
  23. LOL... good call.

    jap drift cars

Seriously, the Japanese guys do EXACTLY the same thing in the pits as what they do in AU. Theres not magic or wierd sh!t going on... Having said that, I don't have a drift pic, but I've got a circuit time trial event? Would that suffice?
  25. I guess it all boils down to: *not* teaching English is a gross misallocation of skills for a foreign Native English speaker in Japan ( lol), so all other avenues other than teaching English are in the 'good on you if you can' basket.
