  1. PMs sent Did I miss anyone?
  2. Just go telling everyone "you can't post that in here" and you'll get there ... sorry, couldn't resist Steve
  3. Sounds like it. Thats the night I bailed out at glenelg. Sounds like I didn't miss much.
  4. Its shitful when your minding your own business and some f**ktart puts you in harms way. I've had a few mates hit up the arse sitting at lights in the last 12 months alone. Reason why I lane split: so no fool can run up my arse. Hope the member who nearly got ya is cowering in some corner.
  5. Get her drunk and she'll tell you any story
  6. For sure. The Brutale resale would be more than the TLR (about $19K) ... so I'll be selling the MV next year sometime to fund either some of the house extension or the planned wedding for 2010. I've had the TLR for 7 years now and can't bring myself to sell it. Besides, the girls like the TLR better than the MV Agusta
  7. Diff meet point. PM sent
  8. Nah, I think she's just given up trying to understand me Pete, I'll take that chainsaw off you for this weekend if its still on offer I'll be at Vilis friday night on the bike, so that'll be no good for pick up. Perhaps saturday a.m.? What area you located?

You expected any sort of honesty out of a government dept?
  12. Checkmates has good rubber Kell ... much cheaper too
  13. This weekend I'll be doing some changes to the TLR. Hope to have it ready for some rides in 2-3 weeks. Then you can get back on the mighty V-twin As much as I love the Brutale ... its well balanced, performs good and is horn ... its only to quench my taste for an italian bike and the TLR will return to the road soon as my main ride. Decided I won't race it now, but will do a track day or two with it, so back to street duties for it. I wanna start racing on a 2banger 250 again instead
  14. RUBY'S STAGEA CRUISE #2 I've mapped out a route. Involves the suburbs (main roads), freeway, country roads and then to Bay for the SCS. Total distance = 87.8kms. Total time (without stops) = 2 hours. So we should get to the SCS about 3pm. Maps will be handed out at the meet point. There was a longer route thru Strathalbyn, but 50% more distance and fuel consumption. I'll do the Strath one next time for Ruby's Stagea Cruise #3 Wash ya car and bring ya cameras!
  15. No worries! Tracy's working as you know, so there's a vacancy open. But no screaming in my ear this time Thats right Two guys on a bike is just wrong!
  16. Can't recall if I've posted it here yet. Its posted in the SA section ... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...9t-t239951.html
  17. Wouldn't you like to know!
  18. PMs sent Wash your stageas peeps, and bring your cameras!
  19. Yep. Going to work to make a buck When summer kicks in a bit more watch out for me on the Brutale
  20. Picked up my Stagea from MV Automatics last night ... thanks Kell for the lift. Box feels so much better and tougher. Gave it the odd squirt to rev out the box and its smooooooooth and firmer
  21. The Sturt Vehicle Identity Inspection station is not as anal as Regency. They carry out inspections only as far as I am aware. I've passed 4 bikes and 3 cars thru there and never seen any paperwork they'd have ready for a defect. One of my cars was a SR20 powered 200B with supercharger. The inspectors didn't like it much (it was engineered anyway) but could only do the VIN inspection.
  22. Marriage isn't such a bad thing ...
  23. I heard many stories from my riding buddies about "ricers" in their imports "drifting" thru the hills and almost collecting them. I've heard a story or two how the drifter actually collided with a motorcycle. Never gave it much thought until it almost happened to me a couple of years back! I was riding thru the hills and a 180 came around the corner sideways ... I would have hit him but the fact that he lost control and skidded off the road out of my path is the only thing that saved me getting hit. Farking idiot got out of the car laughing like it was some big joke. Me and my mates got stuck into him and his mates. One mate of mine dropped his bike from grabbing too much front brake in his panic. You drift anywhere but on a race track, you're an idiot.
