  1. Yeah you're right ... KLX's and KLR's are 4 stroke. I saw the bike in the pic was a 2 stroke, but knew it wasn't a KX being the road-going version. KDX ... but its forgiven. I don't like Kawasaki's much BTW ... I thought the 125 had larger expansion chambers? Only reason I guessed it being an 80.
  2. Craig, I had to sell my dirt bike some time ago. I just kept busting myself up on tracks and jumps too often. It was worse than crashing at the race track (Mallala) Nice old school KLX (?) you got coming. It'll have some awesome torque for wheelies! Was your previous ride a KX80?
  3. Looking for spare tyre bolt down thingy, plastic housing for fuel pump that sits inside the tank, and airbox (or just the snorkel). PM me prices if you wish (flood control won't let my PM you yet).
  4. Flows 235 lt/hr @ 73.5 psi (5 bar) = 235,000cc per hour maximum Supports up to 500hp
  5. ^^^ Knob jockey! <-- Here is a surprise for you
  6. $100 Want back what I paid for it. Bought about 2-3 weeks ago. Only fitted for 100kms. Decided to go with another fuel pump. Pm me.
  7. BOSCH 040 in tank fuel pump Want what I paid for it about a fortnight ago ... $100 Decided to use another pump PM me
  8. Just double check your stock belts first against what is quoted in that ebay link given by Penny. They did get one of my belts wrong ... but made up for it. This Mico-V /Drive belt kit contains the following parts: 1x 4PK835R 1x 4PK865R 1x 4PK925R I believe you need something like 1x 4PK865R 1x 4PK890R and 1x 4PK925R
  9. Yeah, nice to look at, but I wish the buyer luck in getting it regoed. And I think the price is a bit high considering.
  10. The belt numbers should be useful to Repco anyway. Belt 4TK910, for example, is also 40910 on the parts list. "4" stands for 4 ribs, and "910" is the length, and so on with the other belts. Have you priced them at Nissan? I get my car back at lunchtime ... I peek under the bonnet and get my numbers. T and non-T Neo motors should be the same surely.
  11. Have you been defected attending such an event? I'm driving down to Ballarat in the Stagea for the weekend, but I'm not worried.
  12. Membership is $30 per year + $15 once off admin charge = $45 (plus +$5 for associate member card for partner).
  13. Welcome back! I've heard nothing but good things about Wilshire also.
  14. Signed up another bunch of members tonight. New membership cards are coming to all SAU:SA members. And a heads up ... get in quick because the next two membership numbers are #0033 and #0034 (#0035 is already taken ... I had my arm twisted by "he who waves the ban stick")
  15. Skylines Australia - South Australia is CAMS affiliated (as of August 2009). This means that SAU:SA members who wish to obtain a CAMS licence for events can now nominate SAU:SA as the CAMS affiliated club on the application form. Other benefits are listed below: http://www.cams.com.au/en/Sport/Club%20Zone/New%20Club.aspx http://www.cams.com.au/About/Insurance.aspx
  16. A small update: As announced at the Dyno Day on Saturday 15th Aug, Skylines Australia - South Australian Chapter is officially CAMS Affiliated for those hanging out for it. The Certificate of CAMS Affiliation was received in the mail yesterday, which I have in my grubby hands now I am getting the new membership cards prepared this week for all members (current and new) tonight. Unfortunately, I am at TAFE nights on Wed/Thu nights and leaving Friday for Ballarat for 4 days. I'll see if another committee/club member can kindly meet/hand out the new cards in my absence. Spread the word. I'm aware some potential members were holding out, waiting for this affiliation.

  18. Whatever Penny! You got da look .. you know it You can be our promo girl next time
  19. During our committee meetings, several dyno workshops were considered. We were concerned with some aspects, such as the steep access to BW and the main road location of GWW as some examples. SHT seemed the suitable option. This was thoroughly discussed at our Committee meetings, and John was approached. Its got nothing to do with the fact that Cara takes her car to SHT. One aim of SAU:SA also is to help out small businesses where we can. We held one of our fundraiser BBQs at Ministry of Bass (helping the smaller business) ... yet no one complained about why didn't we have it at Tonkins etc. You can't keep everyone happy all the time, so a selection was made for what we considered was the best for the majority. SHT's workshop has easy access for any lowered car, and no neighbours to complain about noise, and should it have been raining there was heaps of undercover space. The premises was very accommodating ... pity about the annoying wind. We were thinking of you as entrants and spectators when we selected SHT. As mentioned before, your concerns will be taken on board. They are all valid points. This will set the benchmark for the next event we run. We will only get bigger and better +1
  20. Did this also occur at the GWW also?
  21. As Pete said, when there is another dyno day, it'll be bigger and better. You concerns are noted and taken on board guys. Even the SAU:SA committee members were busy on their feet all day. Its a learning experience for us all ... and still at the end of the day I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  22. Car swapping? Hopefully I'll be getting my mate's Navara ute ... but I gotta sell the 33 first. The ute would be handy for house reno stuff, but more importantly: getting my race bike and equipment out to Mallala for the racing season next year. Been out of it due to injury for 2 years ... so my times are gunna suck
  23. Penny is such a sweet lady isn't she?
  24. Still for sale. My Stag needs some lovin'. Need this gone now. PM me
