  1. Not my cup of tea ... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  2. I was wearing gloves numb-nuts Splinters still find a way thru.
  3. Might be putting the 33 on the rollers now and not the Stagea. Work not finished.
  4. Life Story entry #336 Loaded and delivered some of the jarrah flooring that I purchased yesterday and today. Oh boy, did I bite off more than I can chew! I'm barely halfway thru it. Getting the rest of the 180m2 of flooring next Sunday (after dyno day). I've still got splinters in my hands This week I gotta order the floor framing materials.
  5. After being told that the slogan wasn't suitable for the tshirts, they're now using a variation of it: "Labor snooze ... SA lose"
  6. That'd be Tracy. We were all over Adelaide yesterday morning.
  7. Anyone know a good reliable plumber? Can't find a plumber who will come out and give me a quote on my house extension!!! Nearly everyone I called say they only do maintenance, or are not available in my area!!! I've gone thru over 20 online and nothing ... I'm ready to do the bloody thing myself. [end rant]
  8. Thats alright Dave, we all know you look nothing like a hairdresser.
  9. Its alot better than selling the Stag The missus had to decide between her Liana and the 33. She wants to keep the Liana due to better fuel economy etc. Which is fine with me. There's no real hurry to sell ... the 33 will be my daily until then. What am I buying next? ... I can use the cash to get back into racing bikes earlier and setting the bike up quicker. Bought back my old RS250 race bike (sold the 600 earlier this year). Collecting it in the next 2 weeks. Haven't raced since I broke my shoulder in a smash Feb 2008 ... so I'm itching to get back into it.
  10. Going from AWD to RWD is not my thing. I'm going to get myself into trouble Jokes ... Tracy has her car back repaired and all (she hit a f**king big dog not long ago) and she loves the 33, but the Liana is more practical for her ... and better on fuel. Its also 60,000kms compared to 130,000kms, and it looks brand new again. Sure it doesn't have an RB, but there are many other features that win. She bought the Liana and built her house as a single mom many moons ago. Now the house is sold and she just can't make herself sell the Liana ... there's a bit of sentimental value. Its either the Liana or the 33, so the 33 will be the first to go. Tracy cannot handle its awesomeness. I may just still keep the car for a daily ... well, it is going to be my daily until someone buys it ... but I'm in no hurry. Just putting it out there Plus some of the money would be good to set up my race bike, which I just bought back (picking up next week). Getting back into racing next season (haven't even done a track day since I sold my 600). Haven't raced since I broke my shoulder in Feb 2008 ... so I got a big itch to scratch.

  15. There is a 95 R33 auto on ebay with 6 bids (at $8,800) and still going. When people wanna sell, they want $12K. When people wanna buy, they want $8K. I say, depending on the condition, to just aim in the middle ... $10K. I've seen two auto R33 4 doors going for $12K ono. Might be time to sell mine.
  16. Are there statistics to prove that economies improve with extended tramlines? Are there statistics to prove that people are healthier with a new hospital development? Are there statistics to prove that speed cameras have indeed saved lives? The government went ahead with spending money in these areas, with no proof. Why do we need to prove we need a motorsport complex? The public is screaming for one. And the government doesn't need to spend a cent!
  17. +1 Black car needs some contrast. As they are in the pic is my vote
  18. Have you called the cops to advise them of a 'possible' stolen and dumped car? Might be worth the call. You'll need to provide a rego number to the 131444 hotline.
  19. PM answered Mitch. First step is to make a police report. List all damages/items stolen. You'll need a report number. Second step is contact Legal Aid for some initial free advice. Ask them about the conditions of Liability Insurance and cover for the "cost of damage to customer cars". There should be Liability Insurance for such a situation, and you should be covered under such a policy. Lastly, this will not be over in a short time. This can and will drag on for a lengthy time. The most likely scenario is that you will have to pay to get your car back on the road and can/will be reimbursed later. Keep all receipts/records of transactions.
  20. I need to hear from the following SAU:SA members ... Nismoid had issues with the following accounts: Rodders211 lovemy32 Nugsy31 Rodney, I'm now aware that you've changed username to -RBD2- Nugsy, there was a problem getting you on, but I think I found the problem Anthony, can you confirm if you have a new username?
  21. Those signs mean diddly-squat. Well we'll find out soon enough when the CCTV footage is used to apprehend the thieves. If not, then I don't understand why they wouldn't have something like that in place. I have it in my own home, and I'm a simple 8-5 paid worker. It'll be a case of: fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me. Thats why I don't like leaving my car in someone else's premises ... not when my home security exceeds theirs!
  22. Pics ...
  23. Your car will be covered by them, its their responsibility. This is why I refuse to leave my car in workshops. Not that I don't trust them ... I don't trust thieves!
  24. I hear Grand Auto got broken into recently. Maybe TT got hit too and they're locked up until they can assess what from what? Just a stab. Any cops on site? Is anyone getting around the back of that place?
