  1. I love the fixed camera mounted on Glover Avenue, Mile End before the underpass ... yes, the downhill part. How about sticking at the uphill section? Bust someone speeding there, then you'll really have yourself a speeder ... not someone being inattentive. Just like when they starting sticking speed cameras to intersections where the speed limit varies from one side to the other (ie Marion Road/Sturt Road, West Terrace Shell etc). You can't tell me they don't strategically place them where they'd make the most revenue? They're targeting inattentive drivers, not intentional speeders! In my cars/bikes on Glover Avenue, without my right foot off the accelerator, I'm still doing over 60kph by the time I go thru the underpass ... but not intentionally. There are no pedestrian crossings here, no side streets, nothing to hit ... so why is it such a "safety" concern to target this stretch of road, and not (say) between ETSA and West Terrace where some racing occurs??? They're talking about using these cameras to "deal with the road toll". But how is targeting the Glover Avenue underpass dealing with the road toll? Revenue raising much? I'm all for speed cameras for "safety" ... but this ain't it. And how about the Sunday Mail explain their "observation" having "clocked 127 drivers breaking the speed limit". Did they include every single driver doing even 61kph and above??? Why don't you comment on the location of the camera, and the fact this is not a problem area! Did the Sunday Mail reporters dob in the 'hoon' they clocked doing 76kph in the 60 zone? I doubt it. Don't let facts get in the way of a good report Sunday Mail
  2. Went to Matty's birthday last night (spotted Matty) and also finally met face to face some mods/members from some other forums. Appears the blue mesh popularity has traveled far and wide. A few of them are really into the Stags. I had the 10yo lad with me, so it was good to stick him in the stag with the DVD player ... while I mixed in and talked shit with the rest.
  3. That would've been me on my way to Matty's. RRS250
  4. Our english staffy, Raynie, can swim! Use to throw her fav shoe into the pool. She'd dive in and swim to the bottom to retrieve it and then jump out. Swims better than Klim Ben, Nene and me & Tracy both have adult staffys and we've introduced them to each other recently, no problems. Ben and Nene's dogs, Mack and Mia, get along just fine with Raynie. Mack and Raynie more so, because we're trying to breed them
  5. Our staffy gets chained up away from the back door now. Keeps jumping at it, cutting up her paws on the screen door. Blood everywhere ... I swear that stupid dog feels no pain
  6. Nigel, I'm interested but couldn't do anything about it for another 2 weeks. Would like to get a look at it too.
  7. You sound like Nene Tracy and I were at the RSPCA last weekend. She wanted another dog ... I unfortunately declined. Not until our house extension is done. We have one stupid dog and one stupid cat already
  8. Ja Comrade Sledinovic! Here you are Dave: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Anthem_of_Russia (no, its not the rick roll)

  12. Interesting. Are the injectors for the RB25DET different to that of the RB25DET Neo motor? ($399 for 550cc for RB25 as opposed to $459 for 440cc or $549 for 600cc for Neo)??? I had thought they were the same ... Neo or non-Neo?
  13. Did I hear someone say: Also now have Nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator $100 (what I paid for it 2 days ago)
  14. And in another 'no fuss' sales transaction, I'll take the Malpassi FPR bud Figured its more economical for me to fit the Malpassi unit rather than the Nismo FPR (with no gauge). So now I gotta sell my Nismo FPR Damn those impulse buying moments
  15. Obviously not that ... or you would have left town by now
  16. +1 What would be interesting is if this levy we pay in our rego is in fact going back into making roads safer? We know it isn't. Motorcyclists get hit with an extra levy for road safety, and do you know where they spend it? Cable barriers ... which are the most dangerous piece of street furniture to a motorcyclist Idiots. Lets not forget the wasted money by the government when they campaign to have front plates fitted to motorcycles. Its a clear ADR breaker. Its okay for them to impose a compulsory modification to a motorbike against ADRs when there is the chance of extra revenue. Motivated by revenue much? Each time they try, its thrown out ... at the tax payers expense. I thought that was simple enough. What has more impact? A dead body in a car after an accident? Or a car ripped in half with the body thrown all over the road and massive trauma injuries to the body? Its still one death in each scenario, but the scene is more horrific in the latter. Get me now? These are the differences we are seeing. Or to make it more simple still ... if you drop an apple to the ground, its ruined. If you throw it at the ground with more speed and impact, its still ruined ... only more so now because its all over the road. A close friend was killed only a few years ago on her bike when a pedestrian walked out in front of her. 2 deaths. But not such simple deaths ... After both being knocked to the ground, the 3 lanes of traffic following behind ran over them. Still a statistic ... but such a horrific one and unnecessary waste of life. Normally motorcyclists don't make much of a news story ... but this one was so horrific it got noticed. Thats what I'm getting at.
  17. I've been looking into Nismo injectors also and RB25 are same as SR20 = side feed.
  18. You had it advertised 8 weeks ago! Of course people will be upset when you advertised it 8 weeks ago. What did you expect? You words were: To first buyer with $$$. I WILL NOT hold for 6 months while you try and sell your camira to pay for them etc. But they had to wait around for you to get off your ass???

  23. My first car at 16 was a heavy Chrysler Century with a worked 265 Hemi ... my second car at 17 was my (deceased) uncle's street-legal (drag raced) TC Cortina with worked 250 crossflow. Both these cars had alot of grunt, and I was fortunate to grow up in a family of repsonsible motorsport drivers, and they passed on the discipline to me. I even drag raced these things myself at AIR. The cars today are faster and more powerful, and the discipline is rarely there. You're obviously off in your own world I didn't say the road toll had increased ... I said maybe the hoon numbers had increased. And the results of accidents from hoon behaviour is getting more horrific, not more regular. Re-read what I said.
  24. Yeah ... gotta wonder where some of the styling for the new GTR came from
  25. So what is it then? PM me.
