Who here has the right equipment (timing light) to check the timing on an RB25DET motor? (I know a normal timing light from the auto shops don't work with coil packs). Would like to check the timing on both my rides this weekend.

As the others have pointed out Les, this clashes with the Extreme Horsepower Show at Wayville. We'd love to enter both, but unfortunately having to pick one the EHP show is just more convenient. For the benefit of the SAU:SA Chapter too, we are also seeking an R35 for our club display, and its just easier to gain an R35 in the display for EHP than down at the MGAF.

Can you type 60wpm+? Can you use MYOB, Office 2007, use a digital phone system linked in with Server 2003 and Outlook? Can you trouble shoot problems with server downloads, links, lost and/or corrupt files? Bookkeeping skills? I don't care how pretty you are ... I need a good team in the administration area. ... but for a blonde, I could make an exception

The Stag is off to MV Automatics today to have more money thrown at it. Time to get that box fixed. In other news, had my performance review at work yesterday and got my bonus ... and a day off today. They're worried I've been working too hard and I might burn out. I was hoping for another admin assistant ... a nice blonde one ... but I'll take the three I got now

Read the article a bit more thoroughly. It outlines All Car Club and RCK as being the trouble makers. SAPOL have identified these clubs as the trouble makers and that other clubs (we weren't mentioned directly) were working with police promoting us as car enthusiasts, not hoons. I'd advise everyone to read the 8 page spread properly before going for their guns. Its a small step in a positive direction, not in the wrong direction. These hoon clubs will be their own undoing. It doesn't concern us.

I was coming up behind you for about 5kms before you guys pitstopped in at Mt Compass ... I gave you guys a toot as I drove past. Me in white 33 4 door. The missus and I were at The Crown for a late lunch ourselves. Should also mention, spotted Bish33 (Jarad) handing 33 bits over to me for cash Also spotted me pulled over by the police at end of Expressway. Had some type M bodykit sticking out one window. Adjusted my load and happily sent on my way. 33 wasn't even looked at. Time I was there, spotted a handful of Commonwhores and Falcondores pulled over for speeding/defects. One cop said to one driver "you might as well get out, you're going to be here quite a while"

Spotted a couple of white 33/34s and a black 32 on the way to Victor today. First at Mt Compass and then later at the servo car park in Victor. Took the 33 out for a nice Sunday drive

With the type M bar, I'll take respect ... to some people, thats more important.

Pictures speak a thousand words. Not everything is going to be summed up in one news report. There are more things ongoing with enthusiasts, the police and the media. As I said, there is more to come. Be patient. Skylines and imports in general are not targeted in this report. The All Car Club and RCK are highlighted, not us. Yet you're still not happy.

I'm happy the Skylines (and imports in general) were not shown in bad light. And I'm happy SAU:SA wasn't mentioned at all ... no news is good news. As for SAU:SA's status in this. Neil Hastie contacted me earlier about this story. Although it is not mentioned in the papers, Neil (and SAPOL) is aware that a majority of car clubs (SAU:SA included) are predominantly car enthusiasts. My hat is off to Neil for protecting the real enthusiasts. I can't and won't say much at this time. But I will be meeting with Neil again in the near future. Can we please be positive about this, and not give the media any more untruths and rubbish to go on about. Let the Commo and Falcon hoons bury themselves.
