  1. They published mine also. I agree that the parole issue must be hitting a raw nerve with Massive Wanker Media Mike. Hence, the "car crushing" topic flaring up again as a distraction.
  2. True. I've got all the equipment at home from back when I was a spray painter, Cara. If you got some Qs, just ask. When you decide on the colour to paint them, you can borrow my gear to do it.
  3. I like it!!! Blue always looks good in an engine bay!
  4. Ah ha! So the Stag has influenced you!!! You should know better by now than to post up a "what to do with my car" request Cara. You'd rarely get a sensible answer. The answer you want is in those car mags you've collected ... have a browse and see what works for you.
  5. I doubt car crushing will be dished out like an on-the-spot fine. There would have to be a scrutineering process to go thru ... IF it ever happens. Exactly.
  6. Yeah ... for once I've had my say.
  7. I'll give you a serious answer: Either get them polished ... or painted gunmetal grey. Depends on what you do with the rest of the under-bonnet components. If you're going braided hoses etc, polish the covers. It would suit the white engine bay too.
  8. Sounds interesting. See what I can do to attend.
  9. 19" white Impuls with polished lip. 8.5" wide and 35 offset. Tyres are 225/35/29. Rims are in good nick. Minor rash on one. Tyres are getting camber worn but are driveable. Seen these going for between $1100 (quick sale) to $1600 (sau for sale) and even $1500 (ebay). $800 Contact me via PM
  10. Do what I do and get one of each = black Stag & white 33. Black is just tough ... just add blue mesh for more toughness
  11. PM sent.
  12. Some cock tried to steal the 33 on the weekend. A club lock and alarm kinda ruined it for them I'll remember to turn on the surveillance to the outside cameras from now on ... so I've got an idea of who's trying.
  13. That sucks to hear mate. Hope you can recoup alot of the money spent. Interested in the FMIC. PM sent. What size? Got a pic to PM me? Ruby
  14. Damo, if you've still got that pump and its functional ... I'll take it.
  15. +1 I'm getting sick of that ... ... oh wait, hang on
  16. I didn't take it as a personal attack Its your car and you're passionate about it. No one likes their ride defected. I've NEVER had to take any of my own cars thru Regency to clear a defect (only my bike once), so I guess I'm fortunate ... and ignorant at the same time too I'm just a big believer of "do it right, do it once" now. Everyone is entitled to opinions. I don't agree with other people, they don't agree with me. If it was my car, I'd do everything and do it once. But its not my car now is it?
  17. I'm all for saving money ... goes good to other things that need doing. But I doubt they'll stop inspecting the turbos, just because they can't conveniently get to them. They have all sorts of gadgets to get around that. I just don't wanna hear about you having to go thru Regency twice because of the turbos. I'm sure there a plenty of helpful folk here who can help you out over a BBQ and some beers.
  18. The Stagea cruise mentioned in that thread was my last Stag cruise (co-cordinated with the help of Adam also). 25 Stageas (a record), lots of mods, and zero defects. 9 months on and those Stageas are still around ... so much for the defect list theory. Personally, I believe its just Skyline owners jealous that Stageas got under the radar unharmed +1 SAU:SA will more than likely attach cruises to a planned event.
  19. +1 I liked it ... but didn't like being the one to model it I'll take my replacement in black please
  20. Thanks for the offer James. Most people are intimidated by police. Neil and company want to meet with Committee members of the new club, so Shane and I will be meeting with them. If I don't hear a phone call today about it, I'll be calling Neil myself to set up a time and place. I've just been too busy this last week to follow it up. Now I have some free time ... in between all the bloody birthdays this weekend/week. Yes, our aim is to get SAPOL to fully understand SAU:SA are a legit club of enthusiasts ... and not a bunch of bogan hoons. Once we've had our pow-wow with SAPOL we'll be sure to inform our members a summary of the meet.
  21. ... phone home
  22. Life Story entry #326: Happy I got the Stag back. The box feels much better. Gotta head south to run a few errands today. Might head home via the hills on the way back
  23. You can listen to whomever you want ... or you can listen to commonsense. You're rollin the dice man, no skin off my nose.
  24. They're going to find the turbos ... its the first thing they'll look for.
  25. I'm meeting with SAPOL shortly. I'll endeavour to raise this discussion with them.
