  1. This is my 8th year MotoGP and I've done 2 years Supers. Always be best fun. You gotta work hard, but just being sooooo close to the action and racers is awesome. I've almost done my second jacket done with signatures ... and about 5 caps. I've worked paddock, pits, trackside, recovery, etc. I also just love pissing off the security. Its fun, race officials of course outrank security, even police when you're in-track. The "rookie" security guys all think they're top shit ... but have no idea what they are doing.
  2. We are currently going over the options for the designs. Please be patient. Weezy, and anybody else, PM me your email addy and I'll send you the membership forms.
  3. So ... who do I complain to, and who's nerves do I gotta get on?
  4. Here's a pic of that thick chick on Recruits: And one of the hottie:
  5. I finished Uni (twice) years ago ... but I am handing up my portfolio of work/assignments at TAFE today ... so technically its my last day for the semester. I'm looking forward to getting tanked over the weekend. No more work 3rd year Design and Construction Management (Drafting)
  6. I will scan the forms to pdf format tonight. PM me your email addy and I will email them to you.
  7. LET'S USE THIS THREAD TO PROMOTE INVOLVEMENT IN MOTORSPORT Okay is there anyone here who would like to work at the 2009 Phillip Island MotoGP? I know its not exactly car related, but neither is football or golf. Plus it might be a good opportunity for a loooooong cruise. I work each year as a race official at the track and we're getting low on numbers for volunteer marshalls. Excellent opportunity to meet some of the racers like Stoner, Vermulen etc, and celebrities like Eric Bana and Mark Webber. I had breakfast with Troy Bayliss last time. You get a free campsite, free entry (including for a guest), free lunches/drinks, and there is free beer at the end of the day. Mind you, you're on your feet all day from 6.30am to about 5.00pm, but to be so close to the action is awesome (Vermulen almost ran over my foot last year) Please PM me if you are interested and I will forward you a copy of the forms required for lodging. If anyone else has a similar request ... volunteers for Mallala track days/drift days ... feel free to hijack this thread.
  8. dob dob dob ... Taking Cam to scouts tonight ... gotta get that lad off the computer and out of the house. And tomorrow night I got plans. Not much of a fan of going to work the next day with f uck all sleep in any case.
  9. +1 Was watching "Recruits" last night. That recruit chick in that show is thick as. She's such a princess ... too far in love with herself to take the job seriously.
  10. I think I just jizzed in my pants
  11. Not as badly as the other GTR, I meant to say. The colour for one, then the wing ...
  12. Non airbag wheel fail Turbo cooking engine covers fail Lic plate in front of indicator fail Defect waiting to happen. Yeah, Luke's car doesn't scream "look at me, defect me"
  13. Thanks. Just the weekend before will be a big one. Working on track and drinking/partying alot at night. I might be at Loxton all warmed up for it, or a total wreck. If I can recover in the 2-3 days when I get back to Adelaide, we'll see what happens.
  14. No complaints about Natalie Portman!
  15. Hmm, awful close to MotoGP time (the weekend before). I may get back to Adelaide on Wednesday before Berri show ... thats if I'm not doing the "Afterburner" track day at Phillip Island after the GP. Count me in as a maybe for now. I'll see if Tracy wants to come again.
  16. Ever seen the movie (also with Vin Diesel) "A Man Apart"? Just add that with the first FnF and there you have it. Here's some pub ammo for you: Vin Diesel's real name is Mark Vincent Vin Diesel also has a twin
  17. Fine. I just cleaned out my "Ended" list, but see if he relisted.
  18. Oh, let them live with their paranoia
  19. Was that for real? If so, that dude needs some discipline
  20. Because I'm not taking the bait from the trouble makers I've been busy with homework/paperwork myself, so haven't had time to stir things up
  21. That front bar is a type M, yes? Comes with the indicators also, as well as reo bar?
  22. Can I see a pic of the KYB suspension? Condition?
  23. When I was shopping for a Skyline earlier, saw a white (I think it was) 32 with so much red in the interior it hurt my eyes
  24. I've thrown membership forms to him for SAU:SA and told him about the SAU:SA dyno day. Hopefully we'll see it regularly
  25. I believe in driver training ... but on the other side of the coin, the hoons know what they're doing wrong. They know doing skids and getting your car sideways and drag racing is illegal. You don't need extra training to tell you that. I believe the licensing system should be set out similar to the Rider Safe scheme for motorcyclists. L and P platers are limited to 4 cylinder NA cars restricted by power to weight. When they get their full licence they go thru an advanced driver training test, but are still restricted to Na cars until (say) a 2 year period. Then they must complete another advance driver training course to get a turbo, V8, rotary whatever. I speak english and I've used small enough words in the hope some would understand. I'm tired of repeating myself and talking to stupid people, so I'm done with this topic. Selfishness prevails over commonsense
