  1. I'd like to see what a stock series 1 R33 can do
  2. Okay my head is spinning ... I've been looking around for type M kits for an R33 4 door. Started looking at 2 door type M kits, but they seem to vary alot from simple lines to big bars and skirts and wings! Has anyone got a pic of what a true type M kit looks like?
  3. Nene should write a book on the list of side effects during pregnancy ... it'd be a freakin Bible!
  4. Yeah, will do champ. Next time you think you've misread something, ask me to clarify. Instead of you kicking up the stink first eh?
  5. There was no avoiding. My safety comes first. Pedestrians in the city are plain dumb. Its bad enough in a car ... its worse on a bike. I'm going to play Carmageddon now
  6. Yes ... you've misread what I posted. Don't compare apples to oranges. A car is not a bike. In case you didn't know, the front brake lever is on the right hand side handle bar. I would have hit her anyway, I couldn't avoid her. And in that sense, hitting her with the brake lever forces the bike to low side. And I've seen what happens there. Ever ridden a bike? Even at 50kph that low side on a 190kg bike will break bones. She's going to get hit anyway ... I'm ensuring my own safety. I broke my shoulder last year in a 50kph low side. So I know first hand what can happen. Do you? Get the facts right. I'm not advertising I'd rather hit a pedestrian. Because I DO NOT prefer that outcome. Don't put words in my mouth. But I'm the rider, have been so for 20 years, and I use my judgement ... not what members of a forum believe I should do. She stepped out in front of me, all this occurred in less than 1 second @ 50kph. My instincts told me to stick out my elbow. In any case, she fell on her ass ... got a scare, that was it! No one broke bones, including me .. so I'm happy with the outcome, even if you are not. For the record, a very close friend was killed on her bike by a non-attentive (drunk) pedestrian. People complain motorcycles are dangerous because they're exposed to things a driver is not. That argument serves most people well when they want to complain about motorcyclists, but when that "danger" includes a pedestrian, its a new set of rules?
  7. Just remove it yourself, its not that hard. Or just remove the panel in the boot to get the battery type/number off so you can purchase another. Don't pay the shop to do it for you. Save some $$$.
  8. Shannons: R33 4 door, alarm, value $11,000 Excess $250 Premium $952 per annum
  9. For Sale: Blitz Dual Turbo Timer Out of my 33. Don't want it. PM me for it. $60.
  10. I say good on em. Get the pedestrians who deserve it, rather than the motorists who don't. I frequent the city alot for work, and the amount of stupid pedestrians with a death wish annoys me. I have pedestrians walking out in front of me frequently. I could get away with murder if I wanted to. Like the time a stupid blonde bimbo walked out in front of my bike at Victoria Square when I had the green light. It was only 8pm, I had my highbeams on, horn on, and my TLR isn't exactly quiet! She was too busy chatting on her phone. I stuck my elbow out and knocked her to the ground. It was either that or drop my $13K bike!!! F uck that! Gave her a mouthful about how stupid she was crossing against the red and being in lala land. Pay attention idiots!
  11. With satin black front bar!
  12. RRS 250 are the plates on my black stag. I think ya mean RSS 250. Gold!
  13. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try calling Darren from Print and Media Warehouse. They're good with laptops. Or also try Grays Online. I got my last two laptops from them ... cheap!
  14. Count me in too Cara! I see you lurking Penny ... get your 34 in it!
  15. You can never be too busy for boobs! It'll pass
  16. Thats what I said to Cara, but she wouldn't accommodate
  17. Unfortunately, this is to be the daily ... must keep the popo happy. Rims are going ... got something else in mind. Type M side skirts and pods by next weekend hopefully. I'll source a type M bar at a later date ... this'll do for now.
  18. I was actually crap in the golf buggy. Understeers too much I got something like 8.6 seconds, but my mate got #1 with 8.14 seconds. If you're not in the mid to high 8 seconds, then you're crap ... so I'm crap Tho somewhat better than some of the fools who couldn't go in a straight line! One of the karts is out of action from a young idiot slamming into the wall that hard he broke it!!!???
  19. Before: After: Much better me thinks! Now I've got the turbo timer removed. Tomorrow I pick up stock rims for it too. I'd rather pay for 16" rubber than 19" rubber. This week I also get a Berklee resonator welded in too. Then she's all cop friendly.
  20. Spotted a silver S2 Stagea in the Mansfield Park area today around lunchtime. Forgot plate number now, but had fmic, cannon, stock rims. Looked like occupants were attending an open inspection in the area.
  21. Spotted Cara and her fine R34 at Wayville yesterday for the Ultimate Blokes Sexpo ... er I mean Expo Car was getting a few "drool" looks from the public, then their surprise when they see a chick owns it. Show is a little better this year than last year. Must be because I got to see a Skyline upon entering the building
  22. I'd keep a cautious eye on that guy there Cara ... he looks shifty. Plenty of laughs with the golf buggy time trials ... damn David for smashing the lap record (but what else would you expect from an ex-gokart racer) There were lots of tools there ... and I'm not talking about the kind for your shed/garage.
  23. Cheers thanks for that Still available for sale or swap.
  24. I likey!!! Now ... how much do they cost? I like the rims too ... what are they? Anyone? How much diff is there between S1 and S2 kits? Oh, and I got offered a swap with my current 19" Impuls for 18" Impuls, but have not heard back from person and can't recall who they were. Is it anyone here?
