Somehow, I don't even think blue mesh would stand out on that as it is
-
Yep. Looking like that ... no one wants it. Would you? Needs blue mesh!!! The seller should invest in a respray (DIY) and will sell it quicker. See the connection?
-
A life isn't much to lose? Good luck to them.
-
Then keep it. I got tired of the bullshit when trying to sell the black Stagea. Buyers have no idea and seem to think you're desperate/stupid ... which was not the case. Decided to keep it and I'm happy I did.

There is hardly any ass kissing and there is hardly any lack of balls ... with the exception of the keyboard warriors. Just because you don't see it typed within these forums, doesn't mean no one speaks out to the mods. Why? Because we're man enough to talk to the mods in person, rather than bitching then trying to explore your "rebelious" nature, playing it all up to other members for that "I tell it how it is" factor. Tell it to their face. I initially thought SteveP was a bit of an idiot (and I'm certain he thought that of me), but I've since met the guy in personal and he's okay. I really don't take too seriously things he says that I disagree with. For the most part, he tagged onto alot of the stirring started by others, and never really started it himself. We know who he is now and vice versa, he is hardly a keyboard warrior. I still don't expect him to agree with me on everything and vice versa, but we both now know that we can talk to each other about it, rather than contributing to the shit slinging on SAU. So what has been developed is respect. We don't have to agree ... but we can respect. That is something that Ted180 lacked, was respect for other members. Meet people, meet members, attend shows, attend events, and develop that physical association and some respect ... rather than beating up on a keyboard.

The truth is somewhere in the middle. Anyone who has studied law will understand the term "common person" or "normal circumstances". In a normal situation a common person is not going to rev their car to redline in 1st altho they're not speeding. This can fairly be interpreted as "hooning" as you are carelessly being a hazard on the road, omitting excessive noise, and disregarding the comfort of others. A burnout is not speeding ... but it omits noise and smoke = hoon. Speed isn't the only tool of the hoon. A doof-doof loud stereo is not the tool of a hoon, as beefy audio systems are common nowdays. Cars driving around to redline is not. I would believe that there would be some sort of court/tribunal hearing/meeting whereby you can defend your actions IF it came to crushing. That way police can't just single out anybody adn not give you a chance to save your car. And in any case, I believe it would apply to the most serious hoon offenders ... not just high performance cars.

Spotted about 11.00am today, white Stagea heading up Glen Osmond Road. Looked clean as! Sweet!!!
-
But I already did ... For a turbo! Yeah, I admit ... it was you're line, I stole it! But I made it sound funnier
-
Wow, the Mods have got alot of cleaning up to do later I know you guys can move/merge threads, can you also move the "I hate Mods" content to a new thread?
-
Nah, the line was crossed believing women knew how to park in the first place
-
What was the nature of you calling the Mod a dickhead? Its a different story when the person deserves it. If its warranted, then the mods can do it. Just insulting someone off the bat for no reason, is not warranted. Telling someone their a prick for they way they treated someone badly, repeatedly, is warranted. Didn't you go to school? Its called "discipline". +1 Andrew, moderation on SAU has improved. Just because the main offenders are being disciplined, means you guys are doing your job (end brown nosing now)
-
I'm generalising. You can't speak for other people. Even if you claim they're saying X or saying Y to you. Period. Too many people hide behind keyboards. Will people back you up for speaking on their behalf when the time calls for it. I don't think so. Not on this particular topic. You only speak for yourself, and only have yourself to blame. Such is the case with Ted180.
-
The "I'm just saying what you're thinking" line is bullshit. I can speak for myself. If I have a problem with something that matters on SAU, I'll speak with the Mods about it ... which I have done so. The people who don't matter will just be ignored. Personally attacking someone repeatedly, is not saying what people are thinking. Consistently being a prick is not tolerated ... simple. Freedom of speech? Insults and personal attacks are not freedom of speech. Some people need to buy a dictionary and learn some manner before posting.
-
Andrew, you're prick for loading me up with Radlers at Kadina. You're a prick for the bad things you did to Luke. You're also a prick for joining me in on hassling Cara in the shower! Is that sexual harrassment then? Oh, what will become of us Andrew? The difference here is this ^^^ was all in good humour Nisskid. Some people are just cruel for the sake of being cruel.

Good stuff Thanks Cara. I'm down for the 33 to hit the rollers. If I get the box on the Stagea fixed in time I might swap vehicles for the day
-
Didn't I just read you doubled it from 75 to 150??? Add blue mesh and push for 200!

Unfortunately, everyone has internet nowdays and not necessarily brains to go with. I fall into that category at times too I admit. But we're all allowed to slip from time to time. No one is perfect. COmmunication is always best in person ... over the internet its too easily taken the wrong way depending on the mood of both parties. We sincerely hope that the birth of SAU:SA will help the Skyline car community become a bit more closely knit ... so there's less "cracking the shits" and more communication face to face.

Its not "priviliges" between members having a bit of fun, its the fact that they're acquianted with each other. Good humour comes with good mateship. Certain members (we know who they are) lack the "mateship" value and substitute it with "insults/personal attacks". Some posts can be taken in good humour, whereas others are a direct (tho incognito) insult to other members/moderators. A good example is the "cool kids club" with the blue mesh. We've all taken it in good humour, those who are mates (ie have met one another and attended events together) understand the person's humour and personality. But certain keyboard warriors just want to be insulting, for the pure sake of being insulting. I've seen endless insults at the blue mesh on my Stagea on another forum, but I really don't care. My car is my car, and it has their attention. And if that's all that they can bitch about with my car, then overall they must like it ... but just can't bring themselves to admit it. I've met people from here and other forums who are completely different people to how they behave online. Therefore, some members just want to insult other members, as opposed to some members having a good chuckle with one another. The Mods can identify the difference between the two ... and its not too hard when it comes to some insulting members ... and they take whatever disciplinary measures are required, because they're authorised to do so, albeit under strict rules themselves. I've had my own share of discipline from the Mods ... even in person. Most of us do not hide behind a keyboard, and we're man enough to face the consequences of our actions. So there really is no "equal rights" when everyone is so different and are known or unknown in person. I think the mods do a great job. Back on topic ... spotted a silver 4 door 33 ... whilst driving my white 4 door 33 ... this morning near City Mazda! No time to wave, because the boy was talking his head off
-
Hope it doesn't come to that. Then you're guaranteed to lose your car ... and possibly your life. Its not worth it. But a majority of people think they're Michael Schumaccer anyway until reality hits ... or something else, hits them.
-
Awesome! I want one now! What has been done, cannot be undone! I've had the Stagea for a while now ... I just got myself a daily
-
I agree it would be hard to swallow that the Govt would actually go thru with this. I think it would be more along the lines of impounding the car, and any further offense will see your car impounded then sold. The problem is that there are hoon drivers out there. The message is not getting through to the hoons. So many young drivers do not take police seriously and do not respect authority. If this gets the message thru and makes a difference, good on them. And it won't be aimed at imports only. Anything a hoon drives. Nothing better than seeing a square block that was once a Commonwhore.

Stagea ... enuf said

Are they bringing over equipment/cars etc for 60 cops? Are those cars being driven over ... doubt SA has extra cars for 60 cops not employed by the SA Govt. 60 families missing their partners for 2 weeks. Who's paying them? Vic Govt going to pay 60 cops to work in SA? I find it hard to believe In any case, I have nothing to worry about.
