yes it is. IF it does not f*&* my car in anyway then i would say its a pretty good deal aye. just like having a aftermarket ECU but has the factory base maps to start off with. especially for my auto box, i need to have the factory ECU's gear change logic. just talked to the workshop and was told he could hear my car pinging before he did anything. hope the pinging hasnt been going for too long. (cant tell how pinging sounds like. LOL) with EBC to increase the boost, i hope i will can to see satisfactory results when i pick it up later. *googling on engine pinging sound/video*

WA r32, thanks for the advice man... did thought of buying other parts since im doing a dyno tuning but just bought my gf a BIG present so im basically "dry" now. but if i remembered correctly, the shop did tell me that it is much cheaper next time for retune etc. so hope it wont be too expensive then. injectors are like around 800 bucks aye.. my gf prezzie = 12 injectors.
-
880 installed and tuned. as compared to a PFC($1600 w/o installation). im installing my EBC at the same time. by the way ricca, do you drive a white er34gtt sedan with GTR front or something and iimported from HK?

Best Place To Buy A Hi-flow Cat In Perth?
uncouth32 replied to gazza750's topic in Western Australia
yea!! decat is the way... been thinking of that too.... but... but... i dun wan a yellow sticker... its your call mate. but i think a higher flow cat should be alright aye. -
hate to be in a dilemma... bugger!i think i will just go for the nistune then. just hope it will not screw up anything (pinging, gearbox change logic etc). ok, gonna sell off my apexi neo then! fingers crossed. decided to go with nistune because auto tranny is not supported by PFC and aftermarket ECU are too expensive for a daily at this stage. and nistune is able to support my future mods of bigger injectors and bigger turbos. *im just trying to justify and convince myself that im not making a wrong mistake now* LOL

thnks for the prompt reply man!! but does it matter if im getting it installed and tuned by a tuner?? i suppose they have the required software and upgrades?? as a matter of fact, my car is in the workshop. i just got home from the workshop and have to give my decision in like... 1 hour! hahha

Hi pple, a simple question - what is the bad side of Nistune? i have searched on nistune and got mostly positive comments. So im just wondering what is the difference between Nistune and say PFC? other than the fact that nistune is cheaper than aftermarket ECU and PFC. As i have read, nistune changes your factory ecu to a programmable one which serves the purpose of an aftermarket ECU. I am about to install my EBC and NEO but was told that i maybe maxin out my AFM and if thats the case, the neo is gonna be useless and a nistune would be better and have more gain. Should i just forget the neo and go with the nistune instead to save myself from having to get nistune again in the future?? Can someone shed light on this soon?? cheers!

im looking for a good electrician as well. chopped off my gps screen (r34) and blew a fuse. Had the fuse replaced but ever since, whenever i hit boost, i will hear electircal interferences behind my speedo... worrying me too...

was told that during compliance, the HID are removed. and if you are LUCKY then you might see your stock HIDs still sitting in there. But most of the cars have got the HIDs removed already. Im not sure though if the stock ones comes with HI+LO beams cos i havent seen one with stock lights.

do realised that the coupe stock wing is a little different from the sedan ones. Sedan ones sits lower as compared top the coupe. pretty sure that is a stock one as well...

to all you guys who are interested in CF trunks or spoiler, try searching for JPcarbon on ebay. I have received pics of his products and he does have full CF wing for r34, CF trunk as well. Been wanting to buy something from him but too bad, mine is a sedan.

hi, sorry to hijack the thread. Im thinking of doing the same as well... rb26 into a r34gtt. but with regards to the 4wd to rwd, how are you setting it up?

Hi guys, i have a er34gtt sedan with a auto tranny. As it is auto, i cant use the PFC thus i have got myself a profec EBC and apexi neo (my car is running very rich) hoping to get more hp out of it. Im looking around 300-350 atw. had a dyno run last month and it read 215hp with FMIC, dump, air filter, 3inch turbo back and cat back is 3.5 with aftermarket radiator. now, im thinking since im going to install and have the car dyno tuned again, is there anything else i should get and have it install together to save myself some labour cost? say fuel pump or injectors or coilpacks or oil cooler ? and is it neccessary for me to have the injectors and fuel pump put in together? and what size injectors should i go for? was planning on having around 12psi as im still running a stock turbo and its my daily car. any advice is greatly appreciated! (i still have a week to go buy any other parts needed but of course, wallet is limited. LOL)

its the shape of the muffler i think? how some muffler is a box with a short pipe coming out of it and some is just a big fat pipe and thats a cannon.

Wa Show N' Shine - **PICS ONLY COMMENTS DELETED**
uncouth32 replied to GODTHRILA's topic in Western Australia
my ride for the past few months.. was busy with work before but now, has Volks GTC 17x8 front and 17x9 rear... boost controller and apexi neo in 2 weeks time. has FMIC, dump and cat back. has a CF gauge holder for the centre console putting them on with defis in another month as well then coilovers follwing that. -
hmm, i will choose gta persoanlly... looks pretty good to me and read somewhere that the gta has the same accleration time as the manual. 4wd will be safer too for family use.. v35 is nice and cool but the space is not enough i think. then again, your call buddy! try to source for a cheaper gta and revamp the interior maybe?? hahah...
-
im interested too... though mine is pretty stock... lol
-
im quoted about 600 to install the apexi neo and boost controller AND another 250-300 for dyno tuning both... the installation cost and tuning is really costing me a bomb.... but my car is running very rich and gets only 220hp on the wheels... hope the neo and boost controller can get me more... disappointing i have to say... sorry to hijack your thread...

opps, im sorry for giving the wrong comments mate... sorry...

spoke to some guy at a workshop as i was enquiring about PFC and boost controller for my er34 auto. was told PFC is not gonna work well in my case and was adviced to get a boost controller and a apexi neo as my car is running too rich at the moment. asked about emanage but was told pfc is better. my 2cents worth on what i heard.
