  1. Doctoring was $40 My specs are: rb32 89mm CP pistons sleeved and sonic tested 264 9.7 IN&EX 0 and 0 Tomei type B springs, std retainers Ported head 1mm over Supertech valves(short turn, bowl area only) HKS GTRS's (port mactched exhaust housing) Tomei Dumps-3" front pipes-3.5" exhaust-5" internal Muffler Z32's ARC 100mm intercooler E85 (Liberty) 1.1mm block restrictor, Mines Baffles 6 boost Manifolds(dyno'd with chinese stainless) Reinmax Oil pump with std springs 3.5 bar warm idle, 7.5 bar max Howards Rods 8.55:1 Comp 1mm Cometic head gasket(good squish) ARP throughout Matt
  2. My picks...not guessing JUN 9.7 264IN and EX on a 30. Easy to put in, good idle, good response. 264In 272out for a RB26 (compliments its revvy nature) If you want to port the head do the short turns, bowl area, deshroud larger valves. Forget enlarging the ports... the bump on the exhaust port also isn't worth much. Matt
  3. The base circle was 1mm under(30mm). I would just be grabbing some JUN Cams(as i have done) JUN IN 264 9.7 EX 272 9.7 Std 31mm base circle No Cam lobe refuge machining Can use with Std springs but i use Tomei Type B-9500rpm(type A-8500rpm max) which are heavier than what come with the JUN kit. or HKS IN 264 10mm EX 272 10.2mm What we found with testing JUN Cams 264 264 gives more power and better response than std cams, pretty smooth idle 264 272 gives more power than above and better spool than below, slight lump 272 272 less 500rpm response more power, little lumpy Matt
  4. Yes but the quality on Oasis is like buying an R32 box!
  5. The size would cause a restriction...but the flange lip would cause more going from 76 to 70mm. Bends do cause restriction which is why you see the Jap Cannon angled mufflers...as they require less bends. If you have under 300rwkw I wouldn't worry to much. Usually the biggest restriction is inside the Jasma approved mufflers. I have seen a 34 with a 3.5" exhaust but the rear cannon went to 60mm internally. Easiest way to tell is to unbolt the exhaust at the cat. Drive down the street and see how much more boost it runs. Will highlight your restriction. My side pipe see a 6psi change in boost. Matt
  6. I have had the luck of owning some R32 Gibson cams. I had them cam doctored. Thought I would share some information as this forum has helped me quite a bit. I never installed them as they did not run a std base circle. These were machined from nissan blanks. They did run different cams for different tracks, along with a sump specific to the track. No idea what circuit these were for. Inlet 261 9.54mm 326.4 lobe center Exhaust 273 9.74mm 326.4 lobe center Tolerance: 1/2 thou May give you an insight into my own cam choice. I didn't stagger my cams as I have plenty of exhaust flow from the 3ltr. Matt
  7. its 70mm after the cat as heat at that point is very high from where the cat outlet should be...now that it has a decat your gas would have cooled more which would cause more of a restriction...prob still better not having the cat however. Matt
  8. Rear manifold rubs on Rubber heater hoses. I have very silly amounts of backfires and flames also now.... Matt
  9. No brand, 48mm mono valve. I asked for bilstein style valves 50/50 Have been looking at the Whiteline 24mm sway bars with Spherical mounts. 8.5-9 front and 6-7 rear looks good Should I also look at a roll center adjustment Like these? Matt
  10. Thanks, Charlie....I see you have a box for me.....might need it sooner than later Matt
  11. I am after some guildance. Trying to decide what spring rate and sway bar to go for. I am changing out my mines Ohlins for some custom coilovers specs are; 48mm valve monotube External resevoir with sep rebound and compression adj, 800n range Dual Springs(helper spring) Steel bottom mounts The car; R33 GTR RB32DETT(tad heavier in the front) 1590kg Full Slicks 18x270 500awkw Currenty has std sway bars but will upgrade to reduce body roll rather than a heavier spring. Front coil? Rear coil? Front Sway? Rear Sway? Matt
  12. lol, I think I may need a wee bit more than red line gear oil for that! 13 broken gearboxes is enough for the time being

  14. Should be fine with the std oil pump and pressure.
  15. Is it a Neo or non neo head.. 1.5mm will be fine for hydraulic buckets.
  16. ok, so my plan is to get some 5mm longer allen head bolts, seal the plenum with grey max silicon as the rubber seal is to big, even after being in the freezer. I measured the runner length against std and the OEM manifold is about 5mm longer than the Greddy. I will get a thermal phenolic gasket which will make up the runner length and insulate at the same time. I just hope the plenum fits and the OEM studs are long enough. Matt
  17. I does sound quite different, louder and throatier. Injectors and tune won't be to far away. I just have to sort out some small issues, like why my Y intercooler pipe keeps blowing off and mounting my catch can... maybe also rotating the rear turbo outleft away from the front manifold. No chance of a 1/4 mile run in Adelaide...we don't have a track :-/ Matt
  18. Chasing a R33 4" or twin 3" cat back exhaust. if you know of one please let me know. I am located in Adelaide Matt 0413023669
  19. I am currently running a 1.1mm head rstrictor with a reinmax pump. Oil pressure is 7bar max, 4bar warm idle. Head is nice and quiet.
  20. Spend the money on Tomei Oil pump 1.1mm block restrictor for 6-8bar or 1.3mm for 4-6bar pressure Howards Rods/or if you really want spool...just stick with std head porting(short turns and bowl area only) CP pistons HiOctane Sump up to 264 10mm cams for 600hp is plenty. HKS 2530's or Garrett -5's with E85 ID 1000 injectors Bosch 044 x 2 fuel pumps Power FC 6boost manifolds Tomei Dumps 3" front pipies into 3.5 or 4" Trusted builder Matt
